Funny…but not funny.
Your username checks out too Mr. Simpleton…the Army obviously removed what remained of your intellect from your paranoid little cerebrum.

The fact that the media ignores our own problems and focuses on made up conflicts across the globe instead tells you all you need to know.

If you knew what the Command and General Staff College was you would know that my screen name is an inside joke among Army Officers.
Valhalla doesn't await you.

You being an actual "War Dog", or one who has a more personal relationship with serving our country, in battle, I am really curious about your thoughts about Gen. Smedley Butler's assertion that war, (in modern time), is a racket? According to his book.
An honest to God question about you and your thoughts on that.

You sound like a pretentious, self-important arse clown; the exact kind of officer I ran into more than not as an enlisted man in the Army.
You come across as about half the Sergeants Major I ran into as an officer, a mix between the "I'm better than you because I wear a star between my chevrons" type, the "I hold more weight than the field grade I advise" type, and the "how dare you revoke my user access because you caught me surfing porn on a government computer, SIGO" type.
Your curriculum at Bliss was almost the exact same curriculum as mine at Leavenworth.

I retired as an 11 Zulu…spent 20 years serving in the Queen of Battle…free rides courtesy of Delta and Air Force to OIF and OEF…awarded CIB and Bronze with Valor…Airborne/Air Assault/Pathfinder/Jungle/Arctic qualified and yet you want to belittle me for my username?
None of your qualification badges, tabs, awards (I've seen people earn CIBs and never leave the FOB, both enlisted and officer alike) or what rank you retired as guarantees you immunity from ridicule when you say stupid shite.
True story: While a Deputy G6, I had a Brigade Operations Sergeant Major come storming into our shop demanding an audience with my boss because the Spectrum Manager wouldn't allocate plain text frequencies for use in EIB lanes. I simply asked the Sergeant Major, "Since when is loading and filling a radio with COMSEC to make a FH CT call not part of the EIB? Have standards lowered that much since I last ran that station 13 years ago?" His response was, "Sir, it appears I need to have a talk with that First Sergeant."

What news outlet isn't?

Anyone watch Levin?
He was making fun of populists/nationalists that call people neocons. And he presented Brandon as an idiot yet promoted war in a way because Russia will take Europe.

If Levin has a critical flaw it's that he gives way too much deference to Israel.

So this is going to be a dick measuring contest?
Cool…this thread was originally about Fox News and then me calling out someone on saying Russkies have never struck a utility here and leads to you ripping on my handle with nothing re: my comments.
How about you come off the high, holy mountain of O land and try to reason with the unwashed masses in E land and speak to me with one syllable words as my chevrons get in the way of my comprehension.

In general terms, especially re: US involvement in most of her military actions…War IS a racket. Butler gave his all to this country and was rode out on a rail for his clarion call against the “military-industrial complex” which Eishenhower warned us about (and which he quixotically was also a former member of).
As someone who has participated in a BATTALION sized action to locate NODs (night vision) lost by a soldier during a training exercise in the middle of the night at Ft. Polk and then you look at us leave BILLIONS of dollars of lethal equipment behind in Ghanistan, you realize quick it’s all a racket.
Just allows defense contractors to sell more to a defense department voracious to spend your tax dollars to enrich their now civilian but former military command staff…AKA pretentious officers who live by “do as I say, not as I do”.

So which Fox hosts are you speaking of? The question is why are you letting the Biden admin push the war and blowing your nose over what some ditzy Fox news host says? And how about a legit link, your credibility has not been established.

To quote Allen Iverson and your little rant about EIB:
But we're talking about practice, man. What are we talking about? Practice? We're talking about practice, man!
“We're talking about practice! We're talking about practice... We ain't talking about the game! We're talking about practice, man! When you come to the arena, and you see me play... But we're talking about practice, man. We're not even talking about the game, the actual game, when it matters, we're talking about practice.”
You and I both know what I’m talking about. How about you and I call it a truce…if not, we can go at this till Valhalla chai boy.

Tom Cotton, while my Senator irritated me last night. He came out said we had to protect Ukraine because it will allow for Putin to push the US around and let Xi do the same. My issue is why? NATO is charged with that. Cotton who is military and wanted out of Afghanistan now wants in the Ukraine, what is his kickback?

I thought "senior enlisted advisors" enforced standards and policy.

They did a false flag when Russia “hacked an oil pipeline” so they could initiate the rise in gas prices.

I don’t want war but why do y’all keep acting like Russia is not a problem?
Posted on 1/31/22 at 12:03 pm to OGtigerfan87
That’s broad…you mean how are they a problem to the U.S.?
Not in any way which deserves us to get into a conventional war with them. There are absolutely no good outcomes in a modern war between two “superpowers”.
We should only commit our blood, riches and steel to the DEFENSE of OUR people and/or when it is to fight in aid of an ally (which become fewer and fewer worth standing for) then commit to winning at all costs.
If we go toe to toe with Russia or China or even the Martians with the current clown line up in the oval and DoD echelons, we will get waxed as we don’t possess the iron will for ALL OUT WAR.
Clang clang go the swords of the unbloodied…
