Revolver News

Todd Young, John Cornyn, Josh Hawley, and Thom Tills. RINOS??? Of the four, Hawley shocks me the most.

Hawley has always been fake. He doesn't even bother to live in the state he represents.

All weak, bought and paid for. Hawley is a big disappointment lately and Trump will support someone else this next cycle. He’ll be on the farewell train like Liz soon enough.

We need a militant arm of the GOP to go after these politicians who don’t play ball. Not physically of course but financially. That’s why the Dems ALWAYS remain in line and vote lockstep bc they realize the repercussions of going against the party. GOP needs to be similar in their approach in my view.

This Trump Desantis feud isn’t helping us either.

Hawley loves to be in front of the camera. You could tell he will say anything to be in the club.

The price of running a successful campaign on the level of US Senate is immense, and that money comes from people who want something from the federal government.

There are no conservatives in Washington DC. That some still believe the GOP is a conservative party is amazing.

Here is their charge against Hawley:
quote:

Hawley also took issue with Trump’s stance on the debt limit.
“I say to the Republicans out there – congressmen, senators – if they don’t give you massive cuts, you’re going to have to do a default,” Trump said, adding, “I don’t believe they’re going to do a default because I think the Democrats will absolutely cave.”
When asked to clarify whether the US should default if the White House doesn’t agree to cuts, Trump said, “We might as well do it now than do it later.”
Asked about the suggestion that maybe the nation should default, Hawley said, “That’s not going to happen.”

Hawley said, “That’s not going to happen.”
SO - In your analysis a "WTF?" answer to a stupidly worded vapid conditional statement is enough all by itself to declare a person unworthy of further support??

I actually looked at your stupid link - and struggled to get past the paywall to find something HAWLEY said - because HAWLEY is one of the more honest, capable, straightforward people we got up there.

and THIS is all you got????
Hawley said, “That’s not going to happen.”
THAT is what you are wasting our time with???

you stupid S.O.B. --- turn in your card - we don't need sub-human intellect making noise on our side.

g.t.f.o.h.

the only thing he could have said better in response to that stupid question would be
"well, bless your heart" and walked away shaking his head.

I think I would not have been so kind.

Hawley is one of the great ones - those who are disparaging him need to cite something to back up their disdain.

name someone you think fits your allegation.

Most conservative recognize that the GOP just happens to be the ONLY place where conservative thought is not dismissed out of hand - does NOT mean we blindly support any GOP.

of course if you had your eyes open and ears unblocked you would be able to discern that.

quote:

Sen. Josh Hawley, a Missouri Republican, told Raju that Putin is “probably” a war criminal when asked about Trump’s town hall comments.
The former president also said he would pardon “a large portion” of the rioters at the US Capitol on January 6. “I am inclined to pardon many of them,” Trump said Wednesday night.
Asked about Trump’s comments about pardoning January 6 rioters, Hawley said, “If you’re asking me do I think we should pardon people who engaged in rioting behavior? No.”

I clicked thinking it was about a Senate vote, but no they just didn't like Trump's CNN town hall.

Is Revolver a site for Trump sycophants?

This is true. Republicans shouldn't be out protesting. Jan 6th was a set up. People need to get smarter. Many saw it coming.
