In response to the Muslims calling him a “fricking pussy”…

The community note on this is also fantastic.

quote:

O'Neill served with SEAL Teams Two, Four, and Six, and was part of the mission that took out Osama Bin Laden.
He received two Silver Stars, four Bronze Star Medals, a Joint Service Commendation Medal, and more.

He is, in fact, not a pussy.

This quote should be on the shirt he wears... and if he has them made, I'll buy one.

I found it off-putting how Rob embraced the spotlight after the Abbottabad mission when SEALs and DevGru and Operators are typically content in the public shadows. Still do in a way, though I understand his choices more as time passes and I've honestly probably listened to him recount the story no less than 25 times. He's a little unhinged but definitely the guy you want on your side when lead is airborne.

But one thing that can be said without question is that he's a bonafide warrior and a true American badass and I fully respect him.

It's funny that some little soy fig behind a keyboard is trying to call him out. Those guys like O'Neill, Shrek, Alford and Jocko are alpha-male heroes and most definitely far from "pussies".

100% agree. All those guys should have stfu and be a professional. They’ve all tried to monetize their moment.

Isn't Sneako the little twink who got into the ring with Sean Strickland?

The same community of peers absolutely torched John "MrBallen" Allen for merely mentioning in one of his early "strange, dark and mysterious" videos that he was a former SEAL. He was just merely divulging part of his past and not trying to use it to springboard his clicks, because the dude had already gone viral. But then a faction of them was happy to plaster their names and faces all over network television for months.

I juxtapose that against the contractors who fought in the Benghazi attack, and how those absolutely heroic Benghazi guys literally could not run far enough away from the spotlight quickly enough, and it still bothers me a bit. I've known one SEAL in my entire lifetime that I can confirm was with the Teams, and if someone else hadn't told me I'd have truly never even known it.

But I digress. This topic is about O"Neill and I respect the dude, and his response was masterful.

I know the pilot who bombed Gadaffi's compound in 1986, most have never heard of him.

Quiet fella but funny. Said they nailed it, the fcking french made them fly around their airspace, radio silence coming back and all he could think of was, my parents are seeing this on CNN while Im still in the air and it was your boy!

Line of Death my arse.

By the way, the Italians leaked the mission and Gadaffi left the compound, and the french would not let us use their airspace, fck NATO.

True story here. I recently became acquainted with a gentleman who actually hid Muammar al-Qaddafi in one of his warehouses abroad for a time, circa 2009 or 2010 before we wacked him.

He swears that Qadaffi was a reasonably good man and that we never got the full story about any of it here in the US. I can't speak to it because I really don't know, but my acquaintance at the time spent most of his time abroad in the ME, Europe and Africa and was bringing home some serious bank, like my yearly pay in three weeks.

This old man has lived one heck of a life for sure. He was also in Iraq when Hussein was captured and in Pakistan when the Abottabad raid happened, coincidentally (I think? :lol). He swears he wasn't see eye A and claims to despise the see eye A.

Considering how much they've sacrificed, the ungrateful civilians have no right criticizing them at all.
