And on the middle of 'apologizing " admits to several things......
The major 2
1- the IC did in fact get involved in politics and choosing who wins.
2- they undermined his presidency after being elected.

quote:
So, let’s put ourselves here in Donald Trump’s shoes. So, what does he see? Right? He sees a former director of CIA and a former director of NSA, Mike Hayden, who I have the greatest respect for, criticizing him and his policies. Right? And he could rightfully have said, ‘Huh, what’s going on with these intelligence guys?’ Right?”
quote:
And then he sees a former acting director and deputy director of CIA criticizing him and endorsing his opponent,” Morell continued. “And then he gets his first intelligence briefing, after becoming the Republican nominee, and within 24 to 48 hours, there are leaks out of that that are critical of him and his then-national security advisor, Mike Flynn.”
Morell is referring to an NBC report that said Flynn was repeatedly interrupting briefers during the session.
“And so, this stuff starts to build, right? And he must have said to himself, ‘What is it with these intelligence guys? Are they political?’ The current director at the time, John Brennan, during the campaign occasionally would push back on things that Donald Trump had said,” Morell told Politico.
quote:
Then he becomes president, and he’s supposed to be getting a daily brief from the moment he becomes the president-elect. Right? And he doesn’t. And within a few days, there’s leaks about how he’s not taking his briefing. So, he must have thought—right?—that, ‘Who are these guys? Are these guys out to get me? Is this a political organization? Can I think about them as a political organization when I become president?'”
He concluded: “So, I think there was a significant downside to those of us who became political in that moment. So, if I could have thought of that, would I have ended up in a different place? I don’t know. But it’s something I didn’t think about.”

Sounds like former CIA Director Mike Morell is trying to make excuses for politicizing the CIA (at least at his level).
The stunning part about this interview Morell ADMITS that he/they politicized the CIA.

He'll be a lot more sorry in 150 years when the USA no longer exists because it collapsed under the weight of FedGov's irredeemable corruption and totalitarian methods.

Sounds like Trump has the justifications for massive level of firings at the upper management levels of the CIA.

Remember, the media blamed Trump for all of this.
It's so sad what Obama has turned once great agencies into with his toady appointees. First the IRS and now the entire IC. Congratulations America, you are fricking Cuba now.

I hope this OIG report names the 27 leakers and we see Brennan, Clapper, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Lynch, Yates, Stzroke, and Ohr among them with recommendations for prosecution.
Mueller's SC should be shut down and disbanded. Several of the people on his team appear to have ties to this "soft coup". Not to mention it's abundantly clear how badly tainted every bit of supposed "evidence" they've collected has to be.
Please let us survive this bullshite, truth prevail, and real justice be served.
The economy and country is finally moving in a direction of prosperity, with corruption and those that would ruin us being brought into the light and punched in the face. We can see the path to saving this country, or at the very least vastly extending it's life greatly. It's right there almost in reach. Please let us prevail.

Couple things here
1. I hope that's not how Morrell actually talks. That's abhorrent for an adult, especially one that is running the CIA.
2. Very illuminating to review George Webb's youtube channel where he talks about Morrell on many of the videos. Morrell is a bad guy. There is no doubt. Trump needs to crush him and Sessions needs to put him in jail.
