I was Ireland 2 years into a Trump presidency and the two most MAGA people I met were immigrant cab drivers. One was Indian and spoke and carried himself like a doctor or executive and a Nigerian in full Kente wardrobe. I kept waiting for the Nigerian to start playing the Eagle’s Take it Easy to be the cherry on top.

London and Paris, they love Biden. Probably because they REALLY hated Trump. London is a lost cause imho. If I don’t ever go back, it won’t hurt my feelings. It is sad too, because I used to really enjoy going. Paris is slowly changing. Even they are getting fed up with the left.

Scotland is the Australia of Europe in terms of being woke. Think of Sean Connery getting a sex change...and being celebrated for it.

Ireland hasn’t changed much outside of Dublin. However, the left had a hold on Dublin until recently. Now, that hold is not quite as firm.

The Netherlands, Amsterdam is more “conservative” than you think (surprisingly so), while the rest of the country is quite conservative (even Rotterdam). The Dutch farmers are being fricked by their government, and the people are almost universally supporting the farmers.

In Germany, they were once like London, but now are seeing the light. Some of my friends there are climbing aboard the MAGA train. They are in the caboose, but still on. This is quite the departure from a few years back. Back then (20 years ago was my first visit), they were all in on leftist ideology (open borders, government social programs to the extreme etc.). Now, not so much. Berlin is the leftist stronghold, Munich is the center for conservative mindsets. One of them was inundated with Muslim refugees by the far left government, guess which one?

In Austria:
Vienna - pure left,
Salzburg- more conservative.

Eastern Europe (Prague, Budapest, Bratislava) are all pro-American MAGA nations that HATE the Biden regime. Ironically, they fear Biden expanding the war in Ukraine more so than Putin.

Greece, like Germany, they have had issues with refugees and, as such, are questioning their leftist leadership.

Turkey, they are a wild card. They loved Trump, HATE Biden, like Russia (there was a shite ton of Russians in Turkey on vacation when I went), and HATE Greece (a fellow NATO member). In short, between HATING Biden, liking Russia, becoming less secular by the day, and HATING Greece, who knows how things eventually play out there.

Spain. Spain is a leftist nation (barring the Basque and Catalonian regions). That being said, Spain is also the most racist country that I have ever been to.

Italy...see Germany. The north is conservative, the south WAS leftist, after a flood of refugees, however, even the southern part is changing.

Switzerland- an anomaly.
Super left socially.
Otherwise, SUPER conservative.

Those a my views based on my experiences.

I only heard this in London.

Ironically, Australia was even worse.

The “Land Down Under” may as well pledge allegiance to China. They are fricked down there. Ditto Auckland in New Zealand, although the rest of the country (minus Rotorua) is very conservative.

Britain is more or less a grotesque socialist police state, with a zillion "planners"

Why would you not provide a run down of these conversations? Answer your own question, my man, you seem to have more to offer than most on this board will

A great, great place. Was the bridge over the Rhine between Ludwigshafen and Mannheim still bedecked with hundreds of Ukrainian flags?
