My wife's hospital. But a lot of hospitals may change policy due to the Covid mess.

You’re making a claim that goes against the majority of experts and established research in immunology and public health, so it’s only fair that you provide clear evidence if you want others to take it seriously. I'm not doing your work for you. I can find plenty of studies showing the opposite, so the burden of proof is on you.

I genuinely cannot believe there are still people in this world that are stupid enough to say things like this.

I oppose mandatory vaccinations, period, mic drop, discussion closed.
That being said, I have gotten a flu shot every year since 1999, which is when I had a case of flu that literally made me the sickest I have ever been in nearly 70 years on this planet. COVID was nothing compared to that case of flu. I literally … I am not using hyperbole or making this up … prayed for Jesus to take me, I was so sick.
Since that time I have made the personal choice to get the flu shot, knowing full well it’s not close to being 100% effective, based strictly on the mathematical odds. I look at it as if it’s even as low as 10% effective, 10% is better than 0%.
Of course YMMV.

Vaccines are the only product that has immunity from civil legal action. I’m sure that’s because it’s totes safe and effective. Now shut up and take the jab science denier!

Do you understand that they don’t have immunity from civil action if they engage in willful misconduct, like knowingly hiding safety risks, fail to comply with FDA regulatory standards, commit fraud or knowingly misrepresent the vaccine’s safety, or act with gross negligence or intentional harm?

quote:No, it hasn't.
It has been proven to weaken the immune system and makes you more susceptible to everything.

Do you understand that proving negligence isn't a necessary component of product liability case.

Do you understand without immunity, it would be that much harder to develop new vaccines?

Please explain to the class why that is?

My wife is a pharmacy tech who works in a hospital, and she is given the choice of taking the vaccine or wearing a mask

I realize you’re probably not asking this in good faith and will likely latch onto "side effects" or other parts of my response as a gotcha, but I’ll go ahead and provide an explanation anyway.
Vaccine research and development are costly, and even rare side effects could lead to countless lawsuits. This kind of legal risk would make companies far less willing to invest in vaccine research since potential liabilities might easily outweigh any profit. The immunity they have isn’t about avoiding responsibility but about ensuring that companies can produce vaccines quickly and safely without the constant threat of crippling litigation, which ultimately helps public health.

IOW they hurt and kill too many people to be profitable otherwise.
Thanks for the long winded admission of what we all know.

Tying political leanings to any forms of medicine, or types of medical treatment is really stupid.
It's the mandates that we oppose, not the medical treatments.
I am pretty far right and I got my Flu shot on Friday. I have my personal reasons for doing so.

Flu shots been around since what.. 1945? Quadrivalent since 2013... long before anyone ever even heard of Covid or the Covid "vaccine". Not, it's not a vaccine... you can't be vaccinated against the flu... I get it through work every year and have since the late 90s... haven't gotten the flu. Might not have gotten the flu anyways... but at any rate... it's perfectly safe. Now if they start jacking around with it, combining it with Covid, developing it like they did the Covid shot... then that's a different discussion.
