The secret republican plot to make liberals look like idiots, known as “Operation Just Let them Speak” is working.

Trump is persecuting his political enemies....

Aa always with these kinds of wishcasting articles:
Was there any possible crime committed in the LAST FIVE YEARS? If not, how would they avoid the statute of limitations?

It is a RICO investigation. Lots of predicate acts.

And this question has been answered many times. It's amazing people continue to ask it as if they don't already know the damn answer.

When you run the DOJ you don't need to let them speak, you can actually indict them so they face legal consequences.
I will celebrate indictments and convictions and completely ignore drip drip drip headers or dramatic ticker announcements on fox news because they're only there to get your attention to drive engagement.
Police investigating things don't run around talking about it they just go f'ing do it and the DA announces charges.
Even worse, leaking information doesn't help the investigation (assuming it exists) at all so I don't want rumors or leaks, I want arrests.

It is the only charge that solves the SOL issue.

I'm open to being shown this, but y'all keep saying that they're going to roll these crimes into RICO or other conspiracy crimes...or TREASON!...but that never happens...because the acts that happened more than 5 years ago aren't sufficiently related to anything that has happened more recently to be considered a part of a conspiracy.
As for Treason, there can't be any without actions involving a foreign country.
Again, all ears here, but this seems the same nothing burger as ths "2026 Florida Release the Kraken Treason Grand Jury!"

the whole thing is so sleazy - Comey using off-government-servers/communication to coordinate media strategy (i.e. - leaks). A lot of blame, though, lies with the inability of Trump's DOJ in the first term to prosecute or even have a desire to prosecute.

Assuming it were a RICO prosecution (they CAN INVESTIGATE anything they want), one of the predicate acts has to have occurred in the last 5 years. What act could that possibly be???

Absolutely. Super sleazy...consistent with most of Comey’s actions. I agree with you. It's a shame prosecutions weren't brought in a timely manner.

The case is over if the government loses its appeal.
And it most likely will lose the appeal because the DOJ under Trump continuously makes unforced error after unforced error. Why in the hell was halligan the only attorney to sign the indictment? just dumb, stupid shite.

Aa always with these kinds of stupid opinions:
Ongoing conspiracies have no statute of limitations.

Each denial is a separate charge and perpetuates the conspiracy. Duh

Right, these people alleging RICO or conspiracy in general: why has government not even alleged this? if there is some evidence of a conspiracy, what in the hell is the government waiting on? It would make no sense to keep this card in their pocket - they are losing and losing big on this "prosecution"

This was the kind of RELEASE THE KRAKEN hysteria that was the center of a TD thread last October. It's now August of 2026. How where those predictions? [note: Bolton's indictment wasn't for Treason. It was in Maryland for revealing classified documents to his wife and daughter.]

These people legit think the DOJ is going to craft a RICO/conspiracy prosecution that goes back into 2016, possibly earlier, that involves hundreds of defendants to keep the chain of the conspiracy going, through 3-4 administrations, with people who aren't prat of the same organizations, etc. And they think this will lead to a public trial.
Then you have the crazy versions of above who think there will be military tribunals
