Got it.

So you really didn’t want other peoples answers when you asked how much is enough.

You just wanted to pontificate on your own position for a couple thousand posts.

Wow. You’re a super important guy. I couldn’t figure out where you stood in your first couple posts.

So in others words, any detailed argument you don’t like automatically is deemed to be “sky-screaming”? That certainly is a convenient definition.

By your own rules, this response post itself is “sky-screaming”. Physician, heal thyself!

T, Robert Barnes has a spicy meme on his feed with Bibi, Trump, and Lindsey. I think you could get away with posting it, but not me.

Yep. Definitely so self absorbed you don’t get the point.

Color me shocked you’re on the wrong side of history here.

Why do these sorts of framings never allow/consider that America itself does gain something valuable by living in a world where a terrorist state that shouts death to America doesn't get nuclear weapons?

First off, Trump declared Iran’s nuclear capabilities were “obliterated” last June. And Tulsi Gabbard confirmed that in a Senate hearing this week:

As a result of Operation Midnight Hammer, Iran’s nuclear enrichment program was obliterated. There has been no efforts since then to try to rebuild their enrichment capability. The entrances to the underground facilities that were bombed have been buried and shuttered with cement….

Putting that aside, the question is not whether a nuclear Iran is desirable. The question is why is this a problem for the United States to solve?

Again, the other military powers in the Middle East — such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Israel — each have clear strategic reasons to oppose a nuclear-armed Iran. They also possess advanced, capable militaries.

If they view this as an existential threat, they are in a position to coordinate and act accordingly. If Iran must be stopped, let these other regional powers form a coalition that will bear the costs and assume the consequences.

The United States is not obligated to referee these long-standing regional rivalries. Many Americans — including a significant segment of the MAGA coalition — are increasingly skeptical of continuing to shoulder the financial and strategic burdens of the United States serving as Global Cop.

Yeah. Most of us aren't pro war. It's just everything has been set in motion and we're aware that stopping will probably cause more harm than continuing since two supreme leaders were taken out.

That's not exactly something ya can say "oh snap, just a misunderstanding, my bad. We cool?" as you attempt to wash your hands of the conflict.

Because he’s not framing it to have a discussion with you.

He just wants you to repond to him. The response is irrelevant. He’s not interested in having a back and forth

He just wants another opportunity to get up on his soapbox and show you how important HIS opinion is.

And it is important. You can tell by how many times he feels the need to repeat the same thing.

For whatever reason, you, sclibertarian, greatlakestiger, and a few other guys get away with some things I can't.

That said, I think Gumbo and OML have already been pinched on their returns, as well as errewerre (he posted some things I could not believe). So, I say, much love and respect to our mods.

Well the question is what is “This”? It’s not clear, and we have no idea what has to happen before we can shut it down.

I’m just grateful that there is a group of like minded individuals on this forum that understand that opposition to this war is not an abrogation of MAGA but instead is a core commitment to that agenda.

So you have this being all about defending Israel…so what if it’s a mutual defense situation? You might be a passenger in my car but if I’m driving and we’re about to drive off a cliff, pressing the brake and stopping my car is the smart thing to do on my part.

That doesn’t make me pro-war…it makes me anti-dumbass. Also sometimes countries need a helping hand for common interests, again which doesn’t exactly make someone pro-war. Were we right to hop in to help the Allies against Germany in WWII? Would agreeing with what we did there make someone “pro-war” or perhaps anti-Nazi rule? We should also be glad that France didn’t have your attitude in the late 1700’s or we’d probably still be part of the British empire.

That’s what I’m trying to get across…some of the world’s powers don’t operate with anything close to the same standards we do. Sometimes the issues are forced and we absolutely have a need/obligation to defend against this…especially when the threat can be neutralized before it reaches our shores. That doesn’t equate to being “pro-war” in the slightest…

Nobody cares if you or anyone else has any sort of criticism about this event, or Trump in connection with it, or anything else. However what you have, do and will continue to see is disagreement with your criticism on a given point. Because while I know you’re convinced that you and only you are irrefutably correct and there’s no possibility whatsoever otherwise, that’s actually not how it works - believe it or not it’s actually possible that the other person is correct. This is how debate and discussion actually works. It’s also known as sharing or arguing opinions. Because I’m sorry to have to break it to you, the vast majority of the time, less and except some obvious situations, yours is also just an opinion.

Che Guevara was a chicken-shite human being and a coward and deserved to die like he did. Anyone who would display his image in any way is no different.

You will get yours one day, pal, I'm quite sure.
