It doesn’t matter the percentage if you are the person it happens to.
In order to outlaw abortion on demand, it is a relatively easy compromise.
And since this is going back to the states, there will probably have to be some compromises in any law written.

Which side of this do you want to error on? When we talk about abortion, this is what hits home for me and my wife on a personal level.
What is considered "acceptable risk" for society at large and politicians isn't acceptable when it affects you personally. A 10% chance that the mother might die because of a pregnancy abnormality? That might not sound like a big deal to others, but when it happens to you and your wife, I wouldn't take a 10% chance she dies. That's a personal decision - no one should get to make that except the patient. Aren't we supposed to be fundamentally opposed to big government for this very reason?

The government does a tremendous job at holding men financially accountable re: their baby mommas
Let's call a spade, a spade. There are a lot of stupid whores out there, with multiple kids and multiple daddies. Too stupid, or lazy, to go down to the health department and get some free contraception. Instead, they just present like a dog in heat to the nearest male that shows them any attention.

Its larger than the % of gun owners who actually end up having to use their guns for self defense or to overthrow the government. Should we also not have 2a?

How about this, i'm gonna keep sleeping around, because i can afford to easily drive a side piece to an abortion legal state, or fly there if she doesn't like driving.
You're no Christian FYI.
ut in an exemption for cases of 1) rape and incest
I never understand this phrase. In most cases of pregnancy from incest, isn't it usually an adult or older family member molesting a minor family member? Isn't that covered under rape? In cases of consensual incest, they should have to live with the web-footed, feeble-minded baby that's created.

Wow …
Thinking you don’t mind if your dtr or wife whores around. Ppl with religious beliefs have moral values that align with 90% of the country’s. The other 10% (you) want drag queens in elementary schools, think it’s okay to groom kids, and idolize Hunter Biden & his dad who showers with his own daughter…?? who does that?

But, they will pervert that, and the same doctors who have no issues with aborting a viable fetus, will claim "health of the mother" over things like mental health and minor health issues that are easily treatable.
Likely that’s been the case for some time.
Studies in two separate years (1988 & 2004?) showed “health of the mother” at 2.8% and 4.0% respectively. The category did not differentiate between “medically necessary” to save the mother’s life and other less critical medical issues.
To a cynical few it might seem the abortion mills learned to imply “health of the mother” equaled “medically necessary” to save the mother’s life. Statistical prestidigitation to inflate the percentage to justify abortion as something more than a grisly form birth control.
Never forget that the abortionists and their industrialized for profit death factories are racist at their core and care for women only for the money generated by them.

Have any data to support that?

Obviously. No one should be surprised when their opponents go off the rails in the opposite direction.

Which is why the process is so expensive and horrible. They want to discourage adoption. They are evil. They aren't incompetent, they are evil.
