They only people that have gone to prison since 2016 are people affiliated with Trump who didn't do anything wrong. They were politically motivated prosecutions, perpetrated by the people that we're told are now going to be held accountable? They're the ones who seem to hold the power and are untouchable. So, not expecting any of these Deep State high up scumbags to face any music. Maybe a couple lower level scapegoats will take the fall, to some degree, but any higher ups like Obama,Killary, Comey, Brennan... Nothing will happen.

Kevin Clinesmith was charged with making false statements 18 U.S. Code § 1001 - Statements or entries generally). The penalty is up to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to $250,000 (that's for a person, it can go up to $500,000 for organizations). Judge James Boasberg (does that name sound familiar?) sentenced him to 1 year of probation and 400 hours of community service.

He knowingly and purposefully lied to his superiors at the FBI about Carter Page working with the CIA (the CIA had responded that Page had worked with them to take down some Russians, Clinesmith said the CIA responded that they had not worked with Page). This was done to give help give foundation for garnering a FISA warrant to spy on Page while he was working on Trump's 2016 campaign, hoping to get into Trump's inner circle and find anything they could possibly tie into their attempt to craft a narrative about Trump colluding with Russia to distort the 2016 election results in his favor.

In other words, he purposely worked to overthrow a Presidential election and all he got as probation and some community service.

This is "nothing will happen" and it's the status quo in DC.

I can see that, but my thoughts are a little different. In order to prosecute, there has to be the will to do so. I think Tulsi has it but I think Bondi may be compromised to some extent.

Even if she isn't compromised and the case goes to court, I think we're far more likely to see a Clinesmith-like plea agreement go before another Boasberg rather than going to trial. Along with that, we are more likely to see another sentencing of probation and community service than any prison time and fines.

Would love for old barry boy to at least be tried for treason.
