I get it. You can’t come up with an intelligent response.

K. Just same response from you.

I have no reason to doubt you, but he's not the only one here who seems incapable of wrapping their minds around the fact that their experience of those videos is vastly different than the experience of the officer on scene.
It's kind of crazy.
My daughter got her undergraduate degree in theatre. She acted for a while and taught acting for a while, was in several productions, was around actors quite a bit, etc.
One of the strangest things about acting is that people—and I don't mean one or two people, it was common—would approach actors she worked with and they could not separate the actor from the role.
They were incapable of emotionally understanding that the person they were talking to was not the character they just saw them play. And I understand that that happens even more to famous actors like Jonathan Rumie who plays Jesus on The Chosen...he has people come up to him and want him to bless them and stuff like that. Or another example, I remember reading an interview with Scott Wolf, who played a character on Party of Five in the 90s who cheated on his girlfriend and her character was well liked by fans. He would have people come up to him in public and curse him out. And he'd say, "That was Bailey, he's a fictional character on a t.v. show. I'm Scott. I'm the actor who plays the fictional character. Bailey doesn't actually exist." And they would say, "We don't care, we still hate you."
This is like that to me.

That may be for some, but he is (and always has been) a “true believer.”
Seriously, I’m not joking, go back as far as you want into his post history. He is a legit leftist.

Charlie Kirk? You mean the peaceful free speech advocate that was brutally assassinated by one of y’all’s loons?
How did you celebrate his assassination?

What post are you referring to?
Posted on 1/9/26 at 10:16 pm to jimmy the leg
No. I mean the guy you couldn’t say anything mean about.

You could, and people did. Plenty of them.
But it was in really terrible taste, and some people's employer's didn't want to be associated with people posting things in terrible taste.
Which is their right as employers.
You can say anything you want that stops short of slander, or inciting violence, etc. But you aren't free from the consequences of your speech.
Usually publicly being a classless a-hole has consequences.

No one stopped them from saying anything.
Although many who are currently unemployed probably wish someone would have.

Such as?
He believed that black people were capable. Do you feel that is racist?
He was against discrimination.
Is that an issue for you?
Oh wait, he was a straight, white, male Christian.
No wonder you hated him.
How did you celebrate his murder?
