We have a large swath of population that are never financially ready for children. In fact most people that have more than 2 kids barely can afford it. I mean look at the number of Americans that don't even have $1,000 in savings for an emergency. Should all those people just not have kids?

Of course I do. It's horrific what Alabama did. Monstrous.

Lethal injection is also a medical procedure.

No it really isnt anymore than self administering insulin at home is a medical procedure. The medical code of ethics (Hippocratic oath "do no harm") prohibits a physicians involvement. The procedure is often performed by non medical personnel with a physician present simply to call the time of death. But this is a completely different topic.

It's a free country. They can do what they want. But if they choose to have kids then they must accept the responsibilities that come with it. If not...then put them up for adoption.

Murdering your unborn child out of convenience is not the answer.

No you don't. If a law was written that abortion was legal for rape victims and in cases where the mothers health is in jeopardy and all other abortions were illegal you wouldn't support that. So as I said you don't really care about abortions for rape victims you just want to use them as a justification for convenience killings.

False choice. I'd support that rather than a total Alabama-style ban, but I wouldn't support it compared to current law.

So just give a bunch of kids away to some foster parent? This is the solution? How many kids make it out of foster care and end up having successful lives and are not dependent on the govt? They are doomed from the start.

my point! you want all abortions to be legal no matter what. A woman gets pregnant and you want a abortion to be legal just because she doesn't want the child.

rape and mothers health are currently less than 5% of abortions. Stop using the rape and mothers health thing as a crutch when someone says they don't agree with abortion being legal.

So this 5% is irrelevant bc its the minority?

Well that's not true.

That's why it's her choice, champ.

That isn't the system we have. We have a Welfare/Social system that regardless if the parents do or not will take care of these kids and it comes from our tax dollars. We don't incentivize anyone to take care of their children we do the opposite.

Abortion is the only thing keeping our Welfare State from being larger than it already is.

What you are posting would be great but we don't live in a perfect world.

It's either that or your tax dollars supporting it. That is the system we have had for damn near 60 years now.

So in what case would you not allow a woman to get an abortion?

36 weeks with exceptions for the health of both mother and fetus if a doctor determines an abortion is necessary.

You guys keep wanting the state to get involved in a medical decision. Really wrecks your entire argument around wanting a smaller government. Maybe be consistent for once in your life.

Interesting that you think only Christians agree that abortion is vile and that people should be free to associate with whomever they wish.
60+ % believe that abortion should be always or mostly legal...

At least be honest. It's not freedom of personal association, it's freedom of business discrimination.

so up until 36 weeks you support zero restrictions on abortion?

The government saying that murder is illegal is BIG government? The only medical decision is if the pregnancy puts the mothers life in jeopardy. All other cases are just a mother deciding to kill a baby, even rape.

do you honestly believe that the life Jesus wants man to live includes the disregard for and bigotry against impoverished children.
