Well I try not to go to Walmart under any circumstances. But no way are they there at 9am on a Saturday. Noon or after, sure. But not 9am.

But OP said Rouse’s so your example doesn’t even apply. Because yes, I have been to Rouse’s on Saturday the 1st.

When I go to HEB tomorrow and it's not super crowded with trash getting in the way then I'll have found Utopia

You are both correct. I don't shop at Walmart for food. It seems like people on food stamps hit it 24/7, whether it is 8 am or 8 pm.

Also, Rouses is typically less crowded early on Saturdays. I try to go early for the specific reason BigBinBR mentioned. It's a better experience and you can get in and out more quickly.

You went Saturday morning before 10am. It probably looked exactly like it normally does. No one with food stamps would have been shopping at that time. In fact Saturday morning is some of the best time to grocery shop specifically because you don’t have to deal with that.

According to Rush…welfare recipients wake up at 11am.

My suggestion? Maybe the SNAP families should join us in flooding Chuck You Schumer's phone lines with demands the democrats end holding hungry American families hostage.

the other day I commented how Jasmine Crocketts heavily black constituents need to be egged on by Trump to flood her phone to get her to push the Senate dems to get this done.

Now I'm hearing that her district may be gone for her to easily win, so she's thinking about going for Senate. Which she has said in the past is her ultimate political goal.

Day 2 Walmart report: no riots. Not busy. Again seemed less trashy. Talked to the door guy I see all the time. No issues. No more than normal stealing.

Calm before the storm?

Huge mistake making prepared foods SNAP eligible. Muh food insecurity, yet they get to eat better than I can afford to.
not sure if it’s a state by state thing but I know both the Domino’s, McDonald’s, Wendy’s and the Jack and the Box around me all have ‘We Accept EBT’ signs out front.

Albertsons report on the edge of a hood. Seems like it’s better now. No issues. No BS. Happy shoppers!

ETA: Crab leg and shrimp counter dead.

Same here. I looked it up when I first saw it and the state website said it was for areas that are "underserved" with grocery options which is hilarious since the EBT sign that sparked my curiosity was in the window of a McD's right next door to Safeway and within a I mile radius of three other grocery stores including a Walmart.

I don't wish hunger on anyone - especially when it involves American citizens. But I can't help but think this is the result of bad choices - especially as it applies to a significant segment of the black community who have embraced the democrat plantation.
The overwhelming majority of folks I see using SNAP/EBT look anything BUT hungry. The amount of either high end foods or absolute junk is amazing.

I didn’t know it had an ‘underserved’ stipulation

EBT signs up in fast food windows in an ‘underserved’ community with a median income around $125k is idiocy
