We could implement standards for teachers. No tats, facial piercings, or dumb haircuts/color for starters. Teach the curriculum or be fired.
If we are worried about teachers teaching false impressions about communism, then the solution is to change the teachers, not give up and ignore the material.

If anyone wants to learn about Communism, Stalin, Mao from a straightforward and nonbiased teacher, go watch Sarah Paine's lectures on Communism on YouTube. SHE shows how Communism (or any historical subject for that matter) should be taught.
