I have an old buddy from high school that buys into all of this shite. He believes we've never been to space. He believes the Boston Marathon bombing, Newtown, Vegas, school shootings, all of them are hoaxes. I showed him a picture from Boston of a guy with his leg half blown off being wheeled away in a wheelchair by EMS. He says that was just elaborate make-up because there was no blood on the ground. Like, he SERIOUSLY believes this stuff is all made up. He thinks every incident is nothing more than crisis actors employed by the anti-gun lobby.
This is a pretty successful guy. I was in gifted classes with him all through primary and middle school, he attended a good college, has a successful career with a beautiful wife. Totally normal, smart guy until he starts yammering away about his conspiracies. It's sad as hell, man.
