I am not voting for Cassidy, but he grew up in Baton Rouge was a starting tackle on Tara's football championship team, and older brother played for LSU.

Fleming was born and grew up in Mississippi.

Both Fleming and Cassidy had Dick Cheney campaign for them in 2008.

So what? Dick Cheney was the Republican Vice President then.

Why? 100% honest question. And I’m talking beyond simply voting against Cassidy. I totally get that.

But why Fleming? What made you choose him specifically?

Because, while I’m sure she’s very nice and dedicated to her current constituents, Letlow’s whole Senate campaign thing feels way too orchestrated.

Hell…Fleming did an interview back in something like January of 2025 where he said Gov Landry was trying to get Letlow into the race as his candidate. Letlow and Landry camp called him crazy…then lo and behold…the Gov’s people are asking Trump’s people to endorse her, even though she wasn’t even in the race, technically, at that time.

Then the Gov’s Chief of Staff leaves to go run Letlow’s campaign, and the other conservative female candidate and close ally to the Mansion, former Rep Emerson suddenly exits the race and is the new Chief of Staff.

Just too much weird stuff circling around this one for me, personally.

Now that said, if it’s Letlow vs Cassidy in the primary runoff, I’m definitely Team Letlow at that point.

Ok.

But what about Fleming’s positions / policies made you want to back him? Other than he’s not this candidate or the other candidate is supported by someone I don’t like?

What of substance makes him your choice to serve as US Senator?

I thought he wasn’t related to Steve Cassidy the LSU linebacker. This a different Cassidy?

Why you so scared of pussy? Ole Miss has a long tradition of hotties per capita rivaled only by Arizona State.

At least Fleming was never in favor of DEI.

Letlow lied in her ads and went dirty first.

What are the other desirable options besides just not voting in that race?

Some of this is accurate, but I'm confident Pres. Trump asked Letlow to run and urged Landry to support her...not the other way around.

Fleming wanted Trump's attention real bad, but he never could get it. He got jealous after learning Trump intended to endorse Letlow.

Well...Trump endorsed Letlow, and not on some whim...Pres. Trump is not gonna miscalculate on a U.S. Senate race against Cassidy.

After Cassidy went full retard mudslinger against Letlow...a door opened for Fleming to attack her as well.

Fleming's obviously conservative but desperate to get one last gig in the U.S. Senate. People forget he ran for U.S. Senate years ago but lost to Kennedy. And that he's currently a statewide elected official seeking yet another position at 75 years old. That's weird to me.

If somehow Fleming ends up in the runoff against Cassidy I'll vote for Fleming. Regardless GEAUX TO HELL OLE MISS.
