Calling for a person to be hanged for treason means you think a person is treasonous and thus want a trial.

The dude was a street preacher in St Louis (you know, one of those crazy motherfrickers standing on the sidewalk screaming biblical verses that we have all seen and ignored or pitied for their mental illness).
