Or what?

quote:

A bill proposed this week by a Republican state senator in Florida would require bloggers who write about Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), his Cabinet officers and members of the Florida legislature to register with the state.

Bloggers who receive compensation for a given online post about an elected state officer would have to register with the Florida Office of Legislative Services or the Commission on Ethics

quote:

“If a blogger posts to a blog about an elected state officer and receives, or will receive, compensation for that post, the blogger must register with the appropriate office … within 5 days after the first 164 by the blogger which mentions an elected state officer,” reads the bill

OR you get fined.....

Shockingly, the bill doesn't mention DeSantis once.

Interesting that Jjobama and his propagandist "sources" specify him by name.

Wonder why...

No the title is the headline word for word. The words contained in the bill is in the OP.

quote:

“If a blogger posts to a blog about an elected state officer and receives, or will receive, compensation for that post, the blogger must register with the appropriate office

Now you can act like that doesn't include DeSantis, but it does and the article is correct.

Isn't this very similar to a rule/"guidance" by the FTC which required social media idiots (influencers) to disclose whether they were being paid to promote a product?

The fact that Republicans didn't all jump up and bitch slap the. Republican that came up with this bill, says all we need to know.

The bill won't make it, but these people don't even realize that stuff like this is what the Blackrock Own Nothing And Eat Bugs Democrats want. Republicans especially are too weak to stop this kind of BS before damage is done.

Jjdoc seems like a psycho. I don't think he is purposely telling lies, pretty sure he believes the propaganda he gets from boogereaters.com

Is it the headline or not. Click the link.

You don;t like the headline, take it up with The HIll. Or NBC. Both are talking about it.

The OP contains the the words from the bill.

Reposting a lie is the same as lying. Maybe you need to read one of your wacko replies you left me:
quote:

Making false witness... Yeah.. Might want to brush up on what you profess and remember this "Not all that sayeth Lord Lord..." You can find that one in Mathew Chapter 7

My opinion is this bill is crap regardless.

They are going after the Conservative Tree House. They are located around the Fort Myers area.

Seems like a pretty stupid bill that would be struck down on 1st amendment grounds as soon as its challenged in court

I guess he left out only if you’re compensated. Outside of that, which part of what you quoted, specifically, is untrue?
