Trump is trying to achieve peace and he's being called a traitor for it. It's as if the Democrats don't have any actual principles but will take any stance necessary to oppose Trump and re-gain power.

It's not just the Dems; it's also the GOPe. The reason? $$$$$$ If we have peace with Russia or NK or anyone else, a lot less defense $$$$ being spent. There's no money in world peace.

That's the genius part! Now make an announcement of what was achieved and the significance without trashing the moment with talk of what the media is up too or witch hunts and give them something to hang their hats on. Be above the trash!

Yeah, they do. It's called "don't give an inch while taking a mile" concerning peace negotiations when a Republican is in office. However, when a Dem is in office - tell us what you want and we'll see to it you get it.
Clinton and China come to mind. Carter and 52 hostages for 444 days and the Ayatollah Khomeini comes to mind. Last but not least, Obama and his his 1.7 billion dollar payoff to Iran comes to mind.
