He's right. The idea of gay marriage in and of itself is not why this issue has been such a hot button when it comes to all sides of the aisle.
The issue many have is with how it has been pushed and how it was determined to be legal.
I think most true Christians would rather an honest, good hearted gay couple be their neighbors than hypocritical uber-Christians that are just horrible people.
The problem is that they went from tolerance to requiring acceptance in the blink of an eye, and used courts to circumvent the constitution and how the government should have determined this issue.
The issue many have is with how it has been pushed and how it was determined to be legal.
