I get there may be a legal challenge. I also get people are opposed to the death penalty.

It’s the socially awkward enthusiasm that some possess to rush in and defend pedophiles.

He will next say, “I didn’t defend anyone. I just pointed out a precedent”.

Maybe he doesn’t understand the partiality he presents when discussing pedophilia.

Can't imagine life is very pleasant for a child rapist in prison. I think the death penalty might be the easier way out for them.

In most prison systems, death (ultimately) after a long wait isn’t the punishment. The punishment is having spent that waiting period on Death Row, which is a very different living condition than gen pop.

How many of the down votes do you think are because of your post?

How many do you think are because of you?

For the record, the current tally at the time of this post is 57 down votes vs the one up vote you gave yourself.

Impressive

No fricking shite? REALLY? Go re-read my comments.

This is, after all, a matter of opinion, not a clear constitutional violation. See Roe v Wade for an example.

This is based in the words of the Bill of Rights. It's not made up like Roe. Completely different thing.

quote:

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

This is a legitimate Constitutional question, unlike the abortion issue.

Who is defending pedophiles ITT?

Correcting OP with the reality of the current state of the law has no overlap with the underlying facts/ accusations.

The precedent applies to a lot more than just pedos.

Very true. But I appreciate the effort on the part of the State of Florida.

Then why do we federally fund and protect illegal immigration in states that oppose it?

That's a loaded question. To discuss this properly you're going to have to break that down into separate questions each with their own constitutional issue.

Like, for example, "protect illegal immigration". You have to define that specifically and give examples. Most of the issues at the border involve the Geneva Convention, which was a set of treaties legally agreed upon by Constitutional process. What is your Constitutional issue, exactly? Are you claiming that we didn't properly sign/ratify these treaties?

Rape used to be eligible for the death penalty, think it was ruled unconstitutional in the 70s.

I already said you would proclaim this.

In your eagerness to be a provocateur, you always align with pedos.

I don’t believe you are an actual pedo (like Hank). But you certainly have a blind spot to how you present to other people.

There is no alignment with pedos.

I'm speaking of the prosecutor wasting his county's time and resources. I didn't discuss the underlying incident/charge.

Only within the unnatural state of this board, but most of that is projection. Again, see this thread (and your posts). Remove the emotional thinking and understand what is specifically being discussed.

I didn't discuss the Florida pedo. The only reference to anything pedo ITT from me is my reference to the USSC case.

No one was murdered but it's a lead-pipe cinch that those little ones lost something that will never be regained or repaired.

In that spirit, perhaps not the death penalty but some form of castration or FGM would be apropos...
