Except the climate alarmists lie about the “scientific reality” and have been caught doing so. The entire thing is a politicized agenda, with the goal of economically crippling people they don’t like. I used to think exactly like you did on this, but one side is completely disingenuous and completely lacks integrity. They force me to do nothing but resist their insanity.

The lies and data contortion have largely involved the prognostications going forward. In other words, climate change due to global warming is occurring but it’s not happening as dramatically or as quickly as those who stand to benefit financially and politically would like it to.

And that whole “the planet didn’t warm basically at all from 99-09” thing, but they kept make up lies real time.

Exactly. And these people are who are in charge and the ones trying to dictate policy. I give zero fricks on what they think. They have an agenda and millions of useful lemmings. An entire philosophy and world view based on hating Republicans, and they have a religious fervor with “climate change” behind them where they just can’t be wrong. frick em. Completely unreasonable.

Your entire premise is the data is made up,

More bullshite.
My premise is that it's meaningless in the world of objective and observable reality.

Claiming that it isn't for the 10,000th time is also meaningless.

Serious question.
This bullshite has been shoved down peoples throats for the last half century.
Where can I go to see this irreversible devastation that has been unleashed on the planet?

Remember, it was claimed to already be a serious crisis
at that time, a half century ago.

What have you directly seen or experienced in your life that has you believe the claims you make?

I don’t really disagree with any of that.

I also think the criticisms hold more water when they aren’t accompanied by “this is all made up anyway”. It makes the legit criticisms easy to dismiss.

In this part of the world, I’d argue the most readily observable change in the recent past has been with regards to hurricanes.

The intensity, frequency and duration of North Atlantic hurricanes, as well as the frequency of the strongest classes of hurricanes, have all progressively increased for nearly 40 years now. Even an anecdotal analysis from lay people living in effected areas will tell this tale.

Of course, the time period in which crops can be grown and harvested in many parts of world has lengthened which goes back to not all effects of climate change being detrimental to us.

This is part of the problem. The time frame of available data is so small, but climate change pushers still use it to push a faulty narrative that is more based in emotion than actual fact.

It would be the same as looking at the temperature change from 11pm to 12am and saying that since the temperature dropped the days are getting colder. You can't possibly know that without knowing what the temperature was during all the previous hours of the day.

Climate change is the preferred term nowadays, and it's certainly evident in Southeast Texas where I live, with increasingly scorching summers each year and a constant assault by destructive storms and floods.

So..to clarify. If you believe the terms are not interchangeable, We are experiencing global warming and not "climate change"?

I mean, we’re experiencing both a rise a average global temperatures and the resulting macro climate changes.
