It was first the ozone
before that overpopulation

WRONG. Before global warming there was global cooling.
Yes..and before that it was the "population bomb" and peak oil.
These people are insane.

Next it will probably be Atmospheric Volatility, or something similar.
Doesn't matter, we only have 12...or is it 11 now...years left to name it and claim it! So in say 2031, don't be buying any green bananas!
Seriously though, I love how the GW and Climate Change folks operate. They toss out an age of doom in the future then when the dates come and go with nothing happening they know most folks won't care enough about them at the time to call them out for it or the media will refuse to mention it. Therefore they can get the political capital from idiots who believe the garbage now and never have to pay the price for the bs when it never occurs down the road.
Can we go back and pull some old quotes from Ted Danson, Al Gore, folks like that who were full of crap making bogus warnings but are skating on folks calling them out on it??? Just like in 12 years, nobody is going to give a shite about AOC and there will be no movement to regurgitate her nonsense to embarrass her dumb arse when nothing happens.

You will never hear the phrase "atmospheric volatility". That has no emotional impact whatsoever, and sounds like scientific jargon.
Global warming and climate change are both fine phrases in plain English that get people's attention, and these words command action.
I like the phrase "carbon injustice" but that may not be catchy enough to catch on.

I thought we were supposed to believe 'settled science'?
It's believed by the scientific community that here have been 3-5 previous ice ages. If that is, indeed true, then logic dictates that there are cycles of global cooling after which there are periods of global warming.
Otherwise, it would just be one long ice age.

I'm almost 50 now. I got into politics when I was 17. They have been saying we were destroying the earth since forever. First it was global ice ages. And nobody in the media ever calls these psuedo scientists out. We the people are waking up and asking, he wait a minute, didn't you say......

Just FYI, climate change and global warming are separate terms that mean different things and should not be used synonymously. Both have been used for decades. One term hasn’t “replaced” the other.
Put in the most simple way possible, climate change is the result of global warming.

One would think a good sign of being a pseudo scientist and pushing pseudo science would be when they demand, "The science is settled." or "The debate is over".
These people!

What’s sad is that if these climate alarmists actually cared they’d do everything in their power to stop China, but all they do is attack Republicans. They aren’t intellectually honest, they are just angry frauds.

I’m a white republican, but that’s no good reason to deny physical realities that exist around us.
The debate should be “is there anything we can do to help this apart from collapsing the global economy and moving back to the Stone Age” not “does global warming exist/is climate change occurring”.
Most of the legislative attempts to address this are useless and akin to rearranging deck chairs on a sinking ship, but the science is clear as to what’s actually occurring. It can be both a scientific reality and a political ploy. It doesn’t have to be one of the other.

Except the climate alarmists lie about the “scientific reality” and have been caught doing so. The entire thing is a politicized agenda, with the goal of economically crippling people they don’t like. I used to think exactly like you did on this, but one side is completely disingenuous and completely lacks integrity. They force me to do nothing but resist their insanity.

There is nothing wrong with the climate.
Can you specifically describe what is "wrong" with it that should force any action at all?

LINK
quote:
Global warming: the increase in Earth’s average surface temperature due to rising levels of greenhouse gases.
Climate change: a long-term change in the Earth’s climate, or of a region on Earth.
Within scientific journals, this is still how the two terms are used. Global warming refers to surface temperature increases, while climate change includes global warming and everything else that increasing greenhouse gas amounts will affect.
It’s really not a big deal, no need to get angry

Your entire premise is the data is made up, so what use is it posting it for the 10,000th time?

Wrong isn’t the right word, there’s nothing “wrong” with the climate just as there’s nothing “wrong” with the atmosphere of Venus.
The discussion surrounds the changing climate’s beneficial or harmful effects on human society as currently constructed.

Listen bigot...
It’s whatever the left wants it to be. So what if their predictions are completely fabricated..
You better stop driving your truck, turn off the air conditioning, and remember that you didn’t build anything.
Oh, and hope and change.

Joke?
"You didn't clarify that you were referring to scientific journals."
Keep moving the goalposts!
"bullshite by any other name is still bullshite."
