Figured Out All This Hunter Stuff

Laptop came from Russian hacked information, placed on a computer, dropped off at a random PC repair shop.
Why would Russia want to help Trump/the US? They don't, but it’s a lesser evil in their eyes.
Who is Russia’s actual geopolitical enemy? Why is one campaign owned by that political enemy?

I keep seeing this rebuttal, as if it's some kind of brilliant gotcha. The problem with this line of thinking, well many problems, but chief of which is the fact Hunter's corruption is Joe's corruption, because Hunter was peddling influence, for cash to get access to Joe. Good luck looking for another spin.

Though I think there is nearly 0% chance of this being true, were it proven to be 100% true that Russia obtained these emails via hacking and did precisely what is alleged here, I STILL would not care given the information that was outed.
At the end of the day, what are we concerned about when it comes to high levels of corruption like this? the evidence of corruption, or the means by which it was obtained and made public?
