It's anomalous, for sure. I've theorized that the stroke actually unlocked some dormant synapses and circuits in his brain, but I'm no expert. I just know that there have been many documented (and alleged) cases of people having significant brain issues and traumas and suddenly have "new" abilities e.g. a profound musical inclination that never existed before or a propensity towards being physically active when they were once sedentary. Some even claim to have developed ESP. The brain is a fascinating 20-dimensional puzzle.

I had kik so long ago, I don't remember it being anything more than a messenger app. Not a dating or meet people app. So the people he's talking to are people he's met other places, and exchanged acct info to start chatting.
