Hope my local police department hires him.

SIAP, got the TD error message when trying to search.

quote:

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed teenager Michael Brown on August 9, is in the final stages of negotiations with city officials to resign, according to people close to the talks.

Wilson maintains he hasn't done anything wrong, and the resignation talks have hinged on whether a grand jury returns an indictment against him in the death of Brown, people close to the talks said.

Wilson has told associates he would resign as a way to help ease pressure and protect his fellow officers. Wilson has expressed concern about resigning while the grand jury was hearing evidence for fear it would appear he was admitting fault.
Ferguson chief: 'I can see this through' Police families fear for their safety
Wilson could announce as soon as Friday his plans to resign, the same day a St. Louis County grand jury meets to deliberate and possibly decide on an indictment.

The talks could still collapse, these people said. Wilson doesn't know what the grand jury will do and if they return charges he could change his mind.

If I were him I would be more concerned with my personal safety than where I was going to work next.

I hope the guy is smart enough to move to another state.

That's not right but I think you would have to be a buffoon to not think you would be a target for retaliation.

Why did they ever release his name and photos? Seems they should have kept that confidential.

If no charges are brought against him I wonder if he could utilize a witness protection type program.

I'm wondering the same thing, however, how sad we have come to this point in this country. Someone not guilty, doing his job, may have to hide for fear of his life. This is why I'm wondering if there is a law or some reason his name and photos were released. I can understand releasing them if the Grand Jury indicts but not before.

I have followed this clusterfrick as little as possible intentionally, but this statement is as ignorant as the other side of the argument. Obviously the guy made clear mistakes, and no one should prefer him on their local police force regardless of the outcome.

I consider this a sign he won't be indicted. If he announces tomorrow, decision will be announced.

You say he made clear mistakes. How do you know this? If he is found innocent of what he is accused and the shooting was in self defense how did he make a mistake?

Unless he has been there a long time, such that the area became a shithole after he got the job, why would any white person WANT to ever be a police officer in such a shite hole anyway?

Let the assholes kill each other. Go get a job somewhere else and concentrate on keeping that scum away from your new jurisdiction.

What clear mistakes did he make? He made a split second decision to defend himself.

I honestly don't know what kind if officer or person he is and I don't know if I would want him on my local department based upon the limited info we have on him. That is why we do lengthy back ground checks

Yeah I would be changing my name and trying to get a job with the Alaskan State Troopers. I would be suing NBC, CNN, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et al to pay for plastic surgery plus a nice retirement fund.

Well, of course he's concerned about his own safety, as well as that of his family. This isn't about where he will work next.

This is the most reprehensible aspect of this entire situation. A man is just doing his job, gets jumped on by a 300 pound thug, and now there are people in Missouri who are threatening to kill him.

Obviously, there are plenty of black racists in Missouri. But Darrell Wilson doesn't look like he could be Obama's son, so of course that scumbag chooses to tell the pos "protesters" to "stay the course."
