Meh.
Momma & Daddy may have bankrolled the house. Also, a $600K +/- house in the D.C. Beltway suburbs would be far from a palatial mansion.
I am very familiar with the valuation of suburban housing stock. Based on the tax description and the year the house was built, this very likely is a modest — though likely very well-built — ranch-style home.

Yup. Pretty modest.

nobody is saying it was some fine mansion. What they are saying is that how many Military people, basically just starting out, can afford a $600K home? I don't know what officers make anymore, but she wasn't high up yet....I'm guessing around $100K...but that could be low.

I have never seen a poster literally lose it over a person being elected. He has literally lost his mind over Trump, severe TDS, and he doesnt even realize it. I believe that he is drinking again, because he appears unhinged on many of his posts. He is a former alcoholic, and while proud of him for cleaning up, it appears TDS has sent him back to the doldrums.

the point remains that is is a $600K house. I don't care if it is a TP. Basic math. But, pops probably ponied up.

New video of crash - X link
I hadn't seen this video until today. Sorry if already posted. Makes it look even more intentional because there is no way the helo didn't see the jet.

I don’t know Army pilots but $600k house is fairly normal for many of the Air Force pilots around me, many of them with wives that don’t work. In the DC area a $600k house is not nice, and she very possibly could have had a roommate. That’s very common for younger military. Some of the army guys around me have 3 people living in a house so they can bank the money.
ETA: the guy that lives behind me is enlisted, he’s an aircraft maintainer, mid 30s but only 4 years into the Air Force and his house was closer to $550k. His wife is a dental hygienist though. But he told me they bought with 0% down VA loan.

Having been a helo pilot in the Marines and then 30 years in law enforcement there is no doubt she was helped along the way by factors that we categorize as DEI. It would have been near impossible to wash her out at Ft Rucker no matter how poor her grades were. There is huge pressure from the bureaucracy in the DoD to get women and minorities into any slot that was previously considered a "white male" domain such as aviation. In an administration as evil as the Biden White House you can ramp up the pressure tenfold.
But to this "500 hours" point that people keep harping on; that is more than enough time to acquire the competency to operate in regulated airspace. At 500 hours I had already been wiggling the sticks on air-to-air refueling, NVG, shipboard and external lift hops. Her issues (I'm guessing) weren't her low hour totals. I'm going to bet she was pushed along even if she exhibited substandard performance.
BTW, this is not a new phenomenon. Go back and look at Kara Hultgreen's fatal F14 crash way back in 1994. Same factors at play - and the same type of White House, also.

I initially thought that, but from that angle, the Blackhawk wouldn't have seen much of the landing light. I am leaning towards accident.

28 year old weekend warrior with a volunteer job during the week.
Sure sounds like mommy and daddy paid for it.
Which further reinforces the point that she lived a life of privilege and probably used that as a way go fast track herself to her UH-60 pilot position that could have gone to someone more experienced / competent.

Trump did not walk into that press conference and say those things without knowing her history.

She was a DEI mascot for Whitehouse events. Everything she did was about rubbing shoulders with the top left wingers and her hall pass was being a lesbian woman that said the right progressive things.
No one was allowed to call out her incompetence because she was a darling of the cause.
There's zero doubt she was unjustly promoted because of her intersectional status as a lesbian woman.
The Biden admin made everything about the race/gender/sexual orientation.
Came here to find the meaning and summary of what, if anything, has been determined.
This post answered that.
