It makes Iran, the mullahs, the Strait, and their London banker handlers irrelevant.

The U.S. consumes about 20 million barrels per day and the world 105 mbpd. If we can get the Venezuela production from 1 million bpd to 4 million bpd in 5-10 years, that's awesome. But, it doesn't make us energy independent or the middle east irrelevant.

I didn't say it did either of those things. I said it makes the Strait irrelevant. This influx of new production; along with all of the pipelines being built in the ME to bypass the Strait's chokepoints are what I was referring to.

40K foot view baw. Everything going on isn't about today or next week.

BREAKING: Venezuela's Interim President Rodríguez confirms the oil deal announced by President Trump which provides the US with "majority control" of 65 billion barrels of crude oil.

Details of the agreement:

1. The agreement will allow for a "significant increase" in oil production with the participation of private operators

2. The development of 17 strategic fields with a proven potential of 65 billion barrels of oil will begin

3. An investment of more than $100 billion is being made

4. Venezuela says this will produce more than $209 billion in taxes for the State

Much more oil appears to be coming to market.

He and Diego have been up all night figuring out how to make this sound like a bad thing.

Diego has shown us what the retards are going to end up running with. "This will only work as long as we don't let Venezuelans hold elections!" Which is about the most retarded thing ever. Venezuelans have gone from the most prosperous Latin American country, to dead broke, and are now about to become very prosperous once again. By the time this is finished the Venezuelans will want to become the 51st state.

These people are simple minded fools.

Did I say it is a bad thing? I just said that the Dems will have the presidency eventually and not have the stomach to do what is necessary to keep VZ oil in the US sphere of influence.

My understanding is Venezuelan crude isn’t what we normally refine and it wasn’t profitable for our U.S. companies to go down there and build refineries.
things were way different pre-Chavez. Especially for our companies. The Gulf Coast refineries were able to handle.

Trump is setting us up, and the cheap asses on this board will still whine over paying a little.ore for long term gain.

In never fails. The people constantly complaining about Trump are ignoring great news again.

This behavior is not beneficial to the conservative movement. They are setting us back by refusing to acknowledge any positive news, and thus influencing others to vote democrat or sit home.

Remember when they cried that taking Maduro meant nothing because "the regime was still in charge?" If only they didn't expect results to always happen overnight, they might actually be able to enjoy something and not drag down America with them.
