I’ll bet a lot of. Just because they’re on the outside of the tape at the start of the vid doesn’t mean they weren’t doing something wrong before.
Wouldn’t be the first time they had done something like that, cause some mischief, and then duck out to pretend that they didn’t do anything wrong.

The male protester has a can of some type of spray. At the 11-12 second mark he uses it while they're trying to contain him. It leaves a light purple ?? spot on the offices right pant leg.

I was wondering what wasn't shown also until I read your post. I went back and looked very closely. at the 11.5 second mark it looks like protester boy could have some kind of small cylinder of something that fits in the palm of his hand. I really couldn't see it, but looks like he could be trying to spray something. If this were a football replay there would be inconclusive evidence. Would be interesting to be able to follow up on this.

I don't know how to link properly from X, but in the comments on the OP post on X someone did a screenshot of it. When they grab him he sprays something on the officers leg. Probably Bear spray. I'm sure that is why they surrounded and apprehended him. He was trying to conceal it behind his back. Since he had it out, in his hand but was hiding it, he had probably already used it. It wasn't just by chance that he was targeted for arrest.
