The IC needs to know what information was compromised and the FBI needs the evidence for their criminal investigation. Core executive functions.

All 17 of them. And they were not obtainable through other means? You mean they gave trump the only copies??

The interview tapes? Are you really comparing that to this? I thought maybe you had something better.

Clearly you haven’t read the ruling. Dude. Just admit you are ok with weaponizing fed agencies against political opponents. This is insane. Trump was impeached for suggesting an investigation. You know. The one based upon the Russian misinformation laptop and a video of Biden making threats.

If you were consistent I could see it. But you aren’t. You are just a fascist.

ETA: citing the DOJ/NARA letter as if it is fact. Yikes.

oh look. yet another bald faced lie by the Biden administration.

I can totally believe that Biden himself ordered this but at the same time doesn't have knowledge of it.

Explain to me again how any secrets are known to have been compromised. Because maybe some new vulnerabilities need to corrected in SCIFs worldwide!

He isn’t a bad guy. I just cannot understand after being showed his arse on the fbi FISA/Russia gate facts why he continues to give the FBI the benefit of the doubt. For any reasonable person that seems insane. He is driven by political ideals and doesn’t care if fascist methods are used. He is a true believer. Means to an end. And if it takes fascism. So be it. It’s really sad.

Nothing makes sense unless you assume they want to destroy our way of life, our freedoms and the vast wealth of everyday Americans. Trump is the biggest threat to that destruction.

Accept this hypothesis and everything suddenly makes perfect sense. Your serfdom awaits.

I just skimmed through it but can't tell what precedent you think applies here. Feel free to explain if you want.

Yup. Unfortunately, there are too many in this country that fall into this category.

Trump produced the first 15 boxes of records to NARA. That's what kicked this off. That's what NARA had in its possession and gave to the FBI. Many of the documents were marked at the highest levels of classification. Of course the IC is going to have to do a damage assessment and the FBI will have to investigate any evidence of crimes. Wholly and completely different from the Clinton case.

So what? You are ignoring the courts ruling about the presidents plenary powers? So dishonest.

Yes or no. According to the court, does the president have plenary power over anything in his possession?

You know the answer. You still support weaponizing govt agencies against a political enemy. I know you’re smarter than this. It’s ok to say this was a step too far. CNNs attorney and Tarzan’s admitted that for goodness sake. Are you so radicalized you’re further left than that?

Holy frick. I listed them. You ignore them. That is fine. You are cool with weaponizing the fed gig against political opponents. Even in opposition to clear precedent. We get it.

Apply this to these records. If trump called them his. They are his. So says the judge.
