Does that make NN worthless legislation?

How so? Explain to me how it is so much cheaper and faster in other countries and yet ours has to double because it's open?

How can Trumpists view this as anything other than a corporate giveaway? Do you really think Comcast would spend all that money lobbying without an expectation of a pay off?

You bought into Trump's populist ploy, and now you refuse to admit you got played. That's the definition of stupid.

Anyone care to explain their justification for keeping NN? The internet is not classified as a utility. If you want it to be, advocate for that instead. The entire rationale for NN (the feds telling companies how they can and can't offer services to the market) seems to be nothing more than "well, I like it."

Going to have to do better than that. If your ISP sucks, get another. Why no rioting over the crappy practices of cable TV carriers? Where is the Cable Neutrality protest to stop Comcast and Cox from gouging you?

Pssh

They never will block or throttle or discriminate, so let them be able to. They won't do anything of course, but let's just let them have access to it, because they won't do it. Don't worry about them spending millions to make sure they can, even though they wont. Trust them, just let them.

Do you like the Comcast et al being able to make a website basically disappear?

What if they decided your favorite conservative or nationalist website just shouldn’t be seen period?

So, they weren't in favor of similar regulations that banned such things, but avoided Title 2? Huh. That's odd.

If we'd kept NN, internet access would double in price, and you'd hear people who are currently VOCAL supporters of NN saying things like "Why should I have to pay $300 for the whole internet when I only want to goto about a dozen sites?"

Nobody would pay $300 for internet access when it's free all over the place and I can access it on my phone through 4G.

That's the beauty of capitalism. If prices started to encroach upon that territory, someone would come up with an alternative and drive prices back down.

Whatever you think Sparky. It makes no difference to me. NN dies today.

You and your Soros buddies can all go scream at the sky.

Because corporations are motivated by profit, and current regulations prevent them from charging more for fast lanes for content providers.

Those charges will be passed down to the consumer-- YOU.

You know much about their merger with Time Warner? Because, they won't really be able to do what people are claiming they will do if NN is repealed, because of that merger. So... maybe just maybe their objection is Title 2. Just maybe?

Hypothetically, would you be willing to pay $4.99 a month to visit this site everyday?
