Good point. But I'm more wondering why they don't publicize these stories in general. I mean, you can find them if you go looking, but trafficking busts in general are largely ignored by the media. They're awful quick to tell us when some madman goes on a shooting rampage and talk about it until they're blue in the face, yet when given the choice between that and publishing something where a lot of people were saved versus slaughtered doesn't fit their business model for whatever reason.

The extreme irony of this story/thread is I routinely argued that labor trafficking was more common than sex trafficking, which, somehow, became "sex trafficking doesn't exist...and they think they're dunking on me in a thread primarily about...labor trafficking.

It's being covered by the local news. Literal lead story on the website

I predict that once this headline hits the CT content creators, they try to link it to the Franklin Scandal.

You thinking this is somehow an L, when it supports one of my primary arguments in the "trafficking" arena.

Either you don't understand the argument or didn't read the article (or both)

I understand completely. You painting this as somehow proving your point by some technicality or qualifying statement on your part just reinforces how empty your argument always was.

An Indian person engaging in labor trafficking in a hotel/motel is so stereotypical it would make you think a racist just made this up at first glance.

It's coming here in Arkansas. Quite a few CP bust in past couple years. They're nailing the low level guys to get all the big fish clients and providers is my gut feeling. I know of one that spent one night in jail, no charges listed but out on house arrest. Viewing and distributing.

Two more locals about 2 years ago busted for production and distribution, pretty big deal, it was a father and son, said they weren't going down alone and would talk. Said they money was too good. They've had an easy of of it in jail, but disappeared from jail role. Haven't had trial yet and no sign of them since they were taken away by US Marshalls. Since then 7-8 guys like the one above have been busted.

I have a feeling there is gonna be a lot of land for sale in south Arkansas before to long.

I don't think you read the story in OP if this is your response.
