Warren to Introduce Bill Rescinding Medals of Honor for Wounded Knee Massacre
quote:
“At the Wounded Knee Massacre, hundreds of Lakota men, women, and children were slaughtered by soldiers who received Medals of Honor,” Warren said in a statement.
“These acts of violence were not heroic; they were tragic and profoundly shameful. Representatives Heck, Haaland, and Cook have already introduced the Remove the Stain Act in the House, and I will introduce it in the Senate,” she continued.
“This bill respects and honors those who lost their lives, advances justice, and takes a step toward righting wrongs against Native peoples,” she added:
Remove the Stain Act huh? I can think of thousands of stains I'd like to remove from this country.

Thought Kamala would be the one with knee problems.

Kamala has been at it longer so she's built up some serious calluses

Now that is what you call virtue signalling.

Way to go Elizabeth, you’re really digging down to the issues that weigh on the working American families

She's really proud of that unique brand of white guilt she's got. She's more pro Native American now than when she was pretending to be one.

Trump should start referring to her as The Great White Buffalo and the Fox and Rush could play Ted in the background every time they referred to her.

Between this and statues, the dims love rewriting history.
It's no wonder, they don't like to acknowledge the real history of the KKK being the paramilitary wing of their party.

She knows the credibility gap she has, I mean, her whole life and career has been trampling Indians, with her fake heritage ...She’s trying to make everyone forget, or overlook her big life character flaw, which is huge.....

Indians never massacred innocent settler families tho.

Okay - Wounded Knee was fricked up.
The first shot was by an INDIAN. He shot an army officer who was taking Sitting Bull into custody. The guy who was shot, reflexively shot Sitting Bull, but an INDIAN police officer then killed Sitting Bull.
I get that we should have some understanding of the complexities of that entire time and everything that went into it, but now we're going to revisit the fricking medals? The soldiers didn't make policy - they were just enforcing it.
And 30-something soldiers were killed (or died later from their wounds) in that scuffle, so it isn't the one-sided affair that the navel gazers would have you believe.
Now, was it based on a misunderstanding of some Lakota spiritual beliefs and practices? Probably. Were the younger Indians armed? Absolutely.
The best analogy to this situation is Waco. I don't see the liberals lining up to try to right that one and that was just 25 years ago. Oh, wait, they did that one and they agree with the results.
For frick's sake...

Where are those medals now??
Are we going to break down doors in the middle of the night - scaring children - ripping open family storage units of all descendants of those who received those medals?? - looking for them?
I loath these people - bordering on rational hatred.
