Fauci has made oddly unclear statements in the press lately. His mask statement implies that masks protect the wearer. In general they don't. They serve to protect others from the wearer. Now then, if everyone wore a mask, they would be beneficial. We don't have that number of masks available though. Meanwhile there is still a shortage for healthcare facilities. So his information is cross-purposes.

Fauci apparently made assertions today which were taken to imply hydroxychloroquine does not work. That is clumsy, odd and again cross-purposes.

What Fauci SHOULD be saying about hydroxychloroquine is "several blinded studies are pending. Studies A, B, & C have 'x' number of patients which should allow valid statistical analysis. We expect the first of these studies to be completed in 'x' number of days. We will have a much better idea as to efficaciousness at that point. Right now we are unsure."

The fact he is not saying that, is odd.

Fauci also implied there is certainty CV19 originated in the Wuhan wet market. There isn't certainty of that. In fact there is anything but certainty of that.
