No way. This was a guy with no real firearms training and was mentally unstable. The reloading alone would probably take him a minute.

Donny, you're out of your element.

Lol. Just love how on this issue "original intent" is a factor.

No shite.

I said at distance. Hallways are usually longer than 12 feet.

I’ve actually toted one in combat. Been in firefights in buildings. My Benelli and I were the overwhelming firepower when needed.

Of course it's a people shooter. The 2nd Amendment was created to keep guns in the hands of people in case the Government became corrupt (like with Obama/Hillary) and tried to impose control on the folk.

AR-15 is an understatement in that regard; hell, if I were an activist I'd want an F-15!

Lol, ok buddy. 75 feet is about a 10 inch spread. "slaying multiple baddies without aiming" with a 10 inch spread? That's not even one chest width (maybe your chest??).

That's a blanket statement. Both have advantages and disadvantages in different situations. A lot of soldiers in Iraq were using the AK47 due to the heavier rounds penetrating walls better and also due to the AK never jamming which has always been an advantage it has over other rifles.

quote:

Some complain that standard U.S. military M16 and M4 rifles jam too easily in Iraq's dusty environment. Many say the AK has better "knockdown" power and can kill with fewer shots.

"The kind of war we are in now ... you want to be able to stop the enemy quick," said Sgt. 1st Class Tracy S. McCarson of Newport News, Va., an army scout, who carries an AK in his Humvee.

Some troops say the AK is easier to maintain and a better close-quarters weapon. Also, it has "some psychological affect on the enemy when you fire back on them with their own weapons," McCarson said.

Most U.S. soldiers agree the M16 and the M4 – a newer, shorter version of the M16 that has been used by American troops since the 1960s – is better for long distance, precision shooting.

But around Baqouba, troops are finding themselves attacked by assailants hidden deep in date palm groves. Or they are raiding houses, taking on enemies at close-quarters.

It wouldn't even come to that. He'd just have to rack a round and they'd run off.

He's also a Fed employee or something so he's totally on the Gov tit. He was upset when Trump got elected because he had a raise put on hold or something due to a hiring freeze.
