I still don’t get it. No one is forcing women to get pregnant. If you don’t want kids and want to duck a bunch of people. Get sterilized.

I think state sponsored sterilization at the request of the person is a much better alternative than abortion.

Apparently 90% of all pregnancies are due to rape/incest or will result in the death of the mother. That's their argument.

There is no such thing as an ‘accidental’ or ‘unexpected pregnancy’. It does not exist. There are careless pregnancies, and there are unlikely pregnancies. There are even pregnancies where mom didn’t necessarily want to be pregnant.
But ol boy did not trip over the sidewalk, fall, and cum inside you. It is a very intentional act*, with known consequences. All forms of contraception have a level of risk of pregnancy to them.
*excepting rape from this conversation entirely

Agreed. I'd be perfectly fine with offering a one time, $10K cash payment to any American who wants to get fixed once. If you reverse the surgery, you have to pay the $10K back and the reversal comes out of pocket.
The people this would be aimed at have so little impulse control that they'd jump at the $10K and blow it in two weeks.
