Bad behavior and blatant bigotry in behalf of the cause is lauded. When challenged with contradictory facts, they resort to mischaracterizations or invectives, or disengage and retreat to a safe space. They live in a mental existence Down Alice's Rabbithole, and consider it normal.
Obviously societal construct built around fantasy and bigoted misperception is a house of cards and will eventually crumble. Unfortunately, it's likely to take the rest of us down with it when it does.
