They are fun (colorado's), but im not the tallest dude and I felt uncomfortable at times. It was a 17 my wife wanted when I got my Silverado. We ended up trading it for a van

I’ve always been a Chevy man and I’ve owned half tons and 3/4 tons of all brands. The F-150 can’t hold a candle to the z71 but I preferred my power stroke 250 over my duramax 2500. As far as pure pulling power my 07 Cummins with the inline 6 diesel topped them all but the rest of Dodge was shite. Currently drive a 19 King Ranch 250 and I love it so I’m equal opportunity I guess but I’ll never sell my 04 z71. The 5.3L V8 GM put in those trucks were like gold and Ford still hasn’t and will never produce a half ton engine to beat it. I’ve got 140,000 miles on it and all but about 5,000 miles have been with 37” tires under it, never had one issue.

I disagree with Trump here. I drive a Sierra.

See liberals? I don’t always agree with your POTUS.

How do you like it? I’ve been thinking about getting a Canyon next truck.

Never really understood the point of buying a light duty truck. If you’re going to spend the money on a truck why not at least get a 1/2 ton? The Colorado’s/Canyons and Rangers just aren’t big enough and the half tons park just as easily and get good gas mileage now. To each his own though.

I had an extended cab Colorado previously that I enjoyed having but I had to give it up b/c it was no longer financially feasible for me to have it (I had massively underestimated how much the note would be for it... it was my fault)... so I got into a Chevy Trax (which was much more financially feasible for me)

I recently took a much better paying job and as soon as I was sure I could afford it, I got back in a Colorado (full crew cab this time)

I love the Colorado... a full size pick-up like a F-150 or a Silverado is way too big for my current needs

For who I am... and my needs... a Colorado is perfect

ETA: I'm a single guy in my mid 30s... no family needs... never end up in the woods or haul all that much... though I do take a number of long road trips through work or family visits throughout the year

I drive a Sierra now and there’s nothing wrong with it, but I do find myself in tight spots when I am off-road. Something like a Canyon would do everything I need a truck to do, probably with more ease. Our boat is in a marina and I have a kayak trailer. The main thing for me is getting a truck in and out of deep woods. It’s sometimes a pain in the arse with a full size. I like the look of the Canyon with a leveling kit and that plastic piece on the front removed if I’m being honest

Something like this:

I'm still always going to be a Chevy truck owner. I've had a 2012, 2015, and still driving my 2017 Silverado
I bought a '95 short wide 5 speed 305 Cheyenne in '99. I traded it in '04 on an '01 extended cab Silverado.

I'm still driving that '01 Silverado as my primary vehicle in 2020.

I'll always be a Chevy guy but I 100% support the moves that Ford has been making for a long time, predating the Obama Detroit bailout.

I would drive a Ford... but I'd rather push my Chevy than drive a damned Dodge

I can see the use of a Canyon if your hunting spots are tight fits plus they are light. We have a big cattle ranch so a 3/4 ton has become a necessity for me. Most of my hunting spots are pretty wide open so my z71 on 37’s is perfect for my hunting truck. If I ever need to squeeze in somewhere narrow I’ve had an old CJ7 Jeep that I learned how to drive on years and years ago. I probably only drive it once or twice a year now but other than the occasional dead battery it always fires right up.

I had them take the ones I had on the 15 and put them on the 17 as part of the deal.

The Colorado the Mrs got had them and it was a crew cab loaded. It was a promo pace truck, so it was a killer deal.

I saw someone on the OT say the bought a Silverado, so that got me looking. Since my 15 was paid off it was only a few grand to upgrade. Was surprised the Mrs wanted the other truck and it was pretty gangsta driving out of a dealership with 2 trucks haha.
