If tweet fails to load, click here. There was a lot of death on the other side, not on our side.”
Cuba just admitted what Trump was hinting at: 32 Cuban citizens died defending Maduro from US forces, including military bodyguards and intelligence personnel.
Cuban dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel declared 2 days of national mourning.
Cuba has been propping up its failing economy with Venezuelan oil for decades.
Maduro's regime sent cheap oil to Cuba in exchange for military advisers, intelligence operatives, and bodyguards.
It was essentially a protection racket disguised as socialist solidarity.
Those 32 dead Cubans? They were the muscle keeping Maduro in power, and they died trying to stop American forces from taking him.
Now Cuba's facing both a body count and an economic crisis, with its Venezuelan cash cow potentially gone for good.
The question is whether Havana can survive without Caracas bankrolling the regime.

We threw a couple firecrackers and took a dictator and his wife out of their country.
If that doesn’t make buttholes pucker worldwide you really don’t want to see what’s after that.

Especially in that. In Iraq we had to send in a team to nation build a nation that had never had democratic institutions. Venezuela was a vibrant democracy up until about 25 years ago. There will be little effort on the part of the US to get Venezuela back among the world’s respectable democracies.
I think what Trump has done here is what he does best. He uses his intuition to make judicious decisions where others have failed due to ideology. I think this Venezuela action will be the textbook moving forward.
Catching up on this thread, but I've noticed one thing over the last few pages. If SlowFloPro is an attorney (seems unlikely while posting 100 times a day for decades) and he sees you sitting across the aisle in a courtroom, he should feign illness and ask for an adjournment.
I hope you're right about the outcome of Trump's action here. Pitfalls are everywhere in a world careening toward fiat currency repudiation. Nevertheless, a Communist Chinese puppet dictatorship in South America is a destabilizing element that would end poorly for the west in every scenario.

Ok so here’s the problem I have with these are posts that are shared and posts that are firing us up and pissing everyone off. Peoples algorithm knows what infuriates them and keeps feeding the beast….
When here’s the reality…..it’s almost barely even real. Camera and angle tricks always paints a fraudulent picture and makes you think that a massive amount of people are causing these issues. Normal people are at work. The only people here are retired white people who are bored at home or people being paid.

Roger hasn't posted since Jan 3, the day Maduro was captured. His interest in Venezuelan "fishing" boats making more sense.

Roger made about 200 posts on 1/3, and now hasn't made a single post on tiger droppings since then-46 days. Kind of worried about the guy tbh.

Occam’s Razor: he’s been suspended.
