The melting from the Romney rinos and liberal limp wrists on here will be more entertaining than an Alabama/lsu game thread on the rant.

New Year, New Military Industrial Complex
Personally, I don’t like interventionism in general as blowback and massive wastes of money are the standard consequences. The American tax payers never benefit. Monroe Doctrine makes me somewhat less concerned about interventions in our own hemisphere, but it still isn’t my thing.
With that said, if the American government has to pick a regime to topple and a nation to build, Venezuela is a damn strong choice. There’s not very many nations with worse, more blatantly corrupt governments that are more antagonistic towards our interests while in possession of more valuable resources than Venezuela.

We take it out by those carriers and jets. We jam and destroy.

This thing will probably be over by the time they get up. They're going straight for Maduro. I imagine they pull out right afterwards.
Also, this will push things over the edge. The left, and many on the right are going to scream to impeach Trump over this.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Apparently it was planned as a Christmas gift to Maduro but was postponed

I don’t like the boots on the ground part, but I’m sure the strategists have thought it out. Will be interesting to hear Trump’s next presser.
This is where I'm at. Was hoping it could be done without boots, but I will see what happens before freaking out.
