Ok, I will. W live a couple of miles from DTLA. Nor in any real danger as there is stuff between us. But, we can hear the fireworks and other explosive devices, we hear the gunshots at night. We hear the sirens on the interstate headed to downtown.
Now that Glendale has gotten into the game, that will affect us more. It’s close by proximity and BIL’s dad lives there. We have to drive thru Glendale to get anywhere west of here.
Interstates thru downtown were shut down. BIL’s dad owns a parking lot in DTLA. No one can get down there to check on it. No idea if employees are showing up.
Police have been pulled to tactical, meaning anything that is not life or death won’t be responded to immediately; all calls go into a queue.
Can’t wait until we can get out of this fricking cesspool of humanity.

Some knuckleheads decided to protest
ICE operations in L.A. They were pretty much peaceably assembled until the
fuzz decided to move in and clear them outs. Predictably, things escalated.
But y’all can rest easy. ICE was able to pick up some day laborers from a Home Depot parking lot. That grave threat has been quelled, thank God.
