I did not claim a USAID connection, I was pointing to someone who did the work and who dug into the matter showing where the money WAS coming from.
The statement from Westbank that you disputed was about "USAID and NGO"s being responsible for the funding.
CHIRLA is an NGO, as is PSLWEB / Party for Socialism and Liberation.
80% of CHIRLA's funding came from government grants.

One of the many eye-opening reveals from the work of DOGE has revealed that despite their charter being for foreign advancement of "American interests", orgs like the Tides Foundation will often receive funding from USAID or through a chain of custody of other pop-up NGOs and funding sources which can be difficult to trace.
By all means though, scrape and claw for some manner of moral "victory" because the thread I posted didn't show a photo of a canceled check from USAID. That totally makes everything these anti-American fricks are doing all better, amirite?

Dems are making it seem like less of an issue than it is. Republicans are making it seem grossly worse than it is.
Ice Agents in masks are arresting people, sometimes people who are legal. People are protesting in certain areas, most the protests are fine, some have gotten violent. Efforts from the fed are only escalating things, but the this admin wants that.
Both sides want this so they can use it for political points

This is not going to make people more sympathetic to immigrants.
