I'm advocating for investigating people who fit the new profile of a potential threat to Americans. I'm not thrilled that it has come to seemingly sane, normal people having enough rage based on propaganda to harm others. I wish leftists weren't like they very clearly are.

But outside of some of them being mistaken, there is nothing wrong with Bunk’s talking points. Violently enforcing them is what is wrong, and that’s just what GRTiger is proposing - using the state monopoly on violence to “investigate” those who oppose his viewpoint.

The point is the profile has changed significantly with this guy. He wasn't trantifa, didn't have blue hair or a septum piercing, presumably came from a middle class or higher, two parent home, has siblings that are ostensibly normal people, and due to his online content consumption, decided to ruin his life in an attempt to murder people he believes sre something they aren't because of the online echo chambers.
The board leftists need to prove they aren't on this same path. We sit next to this guy at church, stand in line with him at public events, airports, send our kids to schools where this guy teaches his brand of insane reality. We don't want these people around us, and now we can't tell them apart from regular folks.

That’s the VAST majority of Reddit. It’s a form of delusional excess- a kind of narcissistic belief that they are the hero of the narrative even as their villain status intensifies. I am “ the right kind of murderer” they say as others provide endless cover for their behavior by pretending everything Trump does is an atrocity. These are truly scary ideologically- possessed times. We used to argue about the size of government. Now the Left is openly gleeful about murder.
