I'm beginning to believe Desantis is establishment. Or in their camp enough that they don't fear him at all. GOPe should have everything to fear from a conservative holdng the highest office. And the fact he is in a tossup between Desantis and Youngkin says a lot. Either one fits the GOPs criteria.

I posted a thread on Trump and DeSantis donors. DeSantis donors are mostly big billionaire donors that donate to both Republicans and Democrats. Trump has MANY small donors. That should tell you a lot.

Now watch DeSantis fight the media and Democrats on small social issues and try and attract the MAGA base. They think we are stupid (and many of us are). He will never fight the establishment on trade giveaways, strong borders and war. That’s where the establishment makes their money.

I’ve never seen any politician surround himself with snakes the way Trump did. Honestly, it’s a concern if he’s elected a second time.

Where does he find loyal individuals who won’t sell him out?

What you are discovering is the uni part Republicans that are snakes. Not even Trump knew how many Republicans were swampy. That is why he is trying to get new candidates elected. The current Republicans are Democrats.

If DeSantis or Youngkin whatshisname from Virginia were President they would be abandoning being Governor.

As well as, do you think their cabinet's would be swamp free?

The depth of the swamp is more than anyone ever knew. I think in the end Trump wants exonerated and to pass the baton to someone that has frick you money.

If someone like Ric Grenell, Peter Thiel, Lara Trump, Trump's sons wait until the last minute to run. We can maybe clean out the swamp as best as we can in a surprise ambush. It is how Trump won in 2016. No one saw him coming as anything but a spoiler.

I truly think we need a young, strong female who has frick you money-Lara Trump. Because the democrats will shove Michelle Obama in and she has everyone hypnotized as "becoming," when she is a radical race-baiter.

DeSantis is the best Governor ever but he would be crushed in the rustbelt States & would be forced by the Turtle to go the way of the uniparty. The media would annihilate him as hating gay people and the GOPe won't care if he wins or not. (SEE Romney)

If you remove Trump from the line up. I still don't think DeSantis could cut it. His Top Gun commercial shows he is a Romney; and the establishment are retarded in their P.R. but they don't care!

Rove is team DeSantis and so is Barr

A bunch of well-heeled archconservatives launched a legal group Thursday with plans to pursue voter suppression measures — disguised as so-called election integrity laws — in states across the country.

The group, called Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections, was co-founded by some familiar names, including former Attorney General William Barr; Karl Rove, who was a top adviser to former President George W. Bush; and Steve Wynn, a Las Vegas hotel magnate accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct. (Wynn, the group’s finance chair, has denied the allegations.)
Now they are worried about election fraud...

To put things into context.

This country has around 600 billionaires. In the 2020 cycle, Trump received donations from around 130 of those billionaires. Last news story I saw for this cycle, DeSantis has received donations from 42 billionaires.

It has yet to be determined who these billionaires will back in 2024. We will know when we know.

That's the thing with a swamp. You gotta jump in somewhere. I don't think it's going to be all that tough from here. He can remove the deep state agency life long hires. We can remove the politicians.

The fact is he has already said he's going to fire 10s on thousands of government squatters from all agencies, DOJ, FBI, IRS, etc.

I don't think anyone else could or would do that. I think that something like that needs to be done.

Trump was indeed an idiot. But he was told who to pick by swampers he thought he could deal with. He was wrong.

Barr baited Trump saying things that Trump would read in the newspapers. Barr never did anything about the Clinton's or U1. It was a trap.

To this tells me that Barr and the DS think they can control DeSantis. I would like to hear what DeSantis has to say about this.

Desantis needs to speak up soon. He won't win as the candidate seen stabbing trump in the back for throne. It will need to be handed to him by Trump. Barr and Rove aren't helping. Desantis can fix it in a 10 min press conference.

I left Virginia before Youngkin became governor, but I did live there during the baby-killing pediatrician, Ralph Northam's term. Ralphie even makes Edwin Edwards look like a saint in comparison. Youngkin is a career Washington lobbyist who I'd rather see as governor of Virginia than a US Senator from Va. He's too much of a swamp rat to serve as an honest steward for the interests of the people of Virginia in that capacity.
