I played a lot of sports growing up. If, over the course of a game, one dude said frick you to another dude. Well, no one would really notice since that's a thing that happens all the time. If, however, someone screamed "white power" at someone else. It seems like we'd need to the stop the game and talk about that for a little bit. Maybe it was different in your neighborhood.
