How is this not socalism?
When did mining bitcoin and running a business become a role of government, and why is anyone at all remotely celebrating this?

Because American Bitcoin is a private company that makes money by mining BTC. About the only thing American Bitcoin does with the federal government is pay it corporate taxes, like every other company in the nation.

Because it’s the president’s son touting his new project on X. I have not looked into it but part of the business model may entail eventually selling mining space to the public for a fee.
