Did he have a license to sell tobacco. Did he attend the mandatory ( in some areas)class about selling to minors. Was he up to date on paying sales tax.

Say what you want. He put the police in a no win situation by not listening. The majority of the blame is his. Anyone that believes the police are mostly terrible I suggest you get an application and see if you can do it better.

They won't. It's way easier to criticize from the cheap seats then actually go out and do it.

Let's just go back to before civil rights while we are at it since that was such a good time in this countries history.

There we go, jumping to extremes. As usual.

because REAL solutions to reduce the amount of abortions is this country are bad? People are going to have sex. Mainly because it is the most awesome thing a living breathing human being can do. Accept it, move on, and provide people with a safe way to do it.

Irresponsible people aren't going to use contraceptives and it's already basically free.

There we go, Gubment pays for one thing so it should just pay for a whole lot more!

Sex isn't a hangup. I dont' give a shite what people do.

All cops?

I didn't say anything close to all cops, but it seems like a pretty frequent occurrence for it to just be a few

Surely you don't think the way you do. Have you ever been a cop?

I do, and the other is irrelevant af. I don't have to be a surgeon to recognize a botched boob job.

Shite will happen. When you finally realize that life isn't fair, you might understand.

And when shite happens we need to hold them responsible, just like any other citizen.

The last cop who had a warrant out for me (cultivation) was caught 3 years prior with boner pills and a couple hydrocodone. That gets me and every non cop a misdemeanor and a felony. It got him a temporary demotion, eventually leading to being head of the organized crime task force in my county. I don't need to be a cop to understand this is total frickery.

Agree with holding them accountable that is not in question but YES you do have to be one to understand what it's like. Seeing a pair of boobs is not even close to all the situations that you can encounter as a police officer. Lots of making decisions in fractions of seconds to seconds. Your bad boob job analogy is ridiculously stupid.

I have never said police officers are infallible, some are far from it and need to be removed. I have always felt ALL people should be accountable for their actions. If you mess up, you should be dealt with accordingly.

I am curious, how did you get your information on that cop?

Love and guidance for young people can come from anywhere maybe it's time we quit rallying against that and oh I don't know give these kids a chance at a good life.

Love and guidance comes best from a mother and a father. And I mean that in a mother/vagina, dad/penis kind of way. Playing “I know best because it makes people happy” social engineer will always have deleterious effects on society.

Not extreme at all. You just agree with one form of discrimination and not the other. The fact your are calling it extreme shows your bias

It was in the newspaper, with a copy of the internal affairs hearing allegations and dispositions. Only 1 of the 4 officers involved was fired. All were found to have committed the drug crime they were accused of.

Okay. If they were guilty, they should have been punished. I will never argue against that. Unfortunately, police unions are way too strong, just my opinion. Same for jobs with the Federal government.

You just don't get it. We should have SWAT on stand by in the parks, just in case those pesky kids start selling marbles without a bussiness license.

On a Realist note, the sin tax on tobacco is driving the Vapeing and CBD oil boom.

The fact you think kids being raised in terrible households is the exception is the problem. It is a huge problem that has always existed and breeds more criminals in our society than literally anything else. But yeah lets continue ignoring it. 400,000 kids in foster care and that number has stayed consistent for the last 30 years. but by all means let put more restrictions on who can raise these kids.

True but EG's death isn't related to the sin tax. Trust me, there's no "loosies" epidemic in NYC or anywhere else.

NY definitely has a lot of loosies being sold. If the states do not go after these sort of things, they are not complaint with the master settlement agreement and will forfeit money next lawsuit.
