She's the daughter of an LA newspaper/publishing family, and believed to be Epstein's "in" to Hollywood. It's believed she's operated in a similar capacity to Epstein's other handlers/recruiters named in the article in the OP.

Coerced? If getting paid strong salaries and enjoying a bit of luxury food and drink (plus some of those gals were likely snatch grabbers themselves) is coercing then you'e got a wide pool to select from. But the biggest draw was the money. On top of all that the underage and of age girls and women who got paid wouldn't cooperate with prosecution or law enforcement since some didn't want to lose their money making potential, some were doing it on the sly and some were among the biggest ducks in the puddle. That, the lack of cooperation, was likely the Federal prosecutor's biggest hurdle. And it was made a note of at the time of the settlement. As we speak they are having to advertise to get folks to come forward which will open up another sack of snakes. The frauds.

Epstein is guilty and some of those girls were too young, way too young but Florida was getting this case out of the way and giving him probation to shut it down. And to satisfy some of the big dems he had contributed too. And Epstein's high powered lawyers were appealing to the dems higher ups to squash it with no jail time and it would have been had the hero in the Trump admin stepped in.
