This would make sense if the DOJ hadn't already charged him and plead him out to some minor offense before Trump was President. Even if he knew about it, what's he supposed to do if the DOJ already screwed the pooch on what they had investigated him for?
The Epstein stuff was fricked up and every single person directly involved should go to jail, but this logic could apply to literally every sitting politician in DC. They all knew, they all did nothing, but somehow only Trump has to take the heat for it?
