I'm a believer in democracy and freedom. Israel has been constantly attacked because of who they are. Israel has had our backs through thick or thin. I believe in loyalty

Where did I say I care more about ANY country more than America. That is really a stupid comment. I've served time in the US Navy for my country have you?. I've pretty much stated I was behind Israel because of it's friendship and being there for us. You even used my quote that stated that.
Not once have I said it's because of the Bible. You want to think that because you have no other form of debate.

Nope. Are you? You may as well excuse their actions too. You seem to have no problem with it.

I'm totally against it being done by anyone. Is Israel perfect no it's not but it is the only democracy in the ME, which means it's the closet to America in that part of the world. Israel has provided extremely useful intelligence that benefited the United States. Israel also has the right to defend themselves. Sorry you don't see it that way

Are you sure that it does not have something to do with the ~1500 years of antisemitism they endured while living in Europe?
It was for this sort of stuff you dork. That is the martyr St. Simon of Trent. That stuff happened a lot.

Ethiopia makes no sense. King menelik was the son of king solomon and he visited his father on numerous occasions. Hell, they claim he brought back the ark of the covenant to protect it. Sudan and Somalia, yeah ofcourse....but the ancient abyssinian empire comprised of all of these modern nations. Dont know what to make of it.
Also, where is Egypt
Also, where is Egypt

The Revelation has the war (battle) being fought at the Mount of Megiddo
This is actually the final and climatic battle which will involve the Antichrist and his allied armies and the Chinese (The Kings of the East).
Russia's invasion and its defeat (along with its allies) sets the stage for the appearance of the Antichrist.

Nice story.

The sequence of end-times eschatology is one of the most disagreed upon things in the bible. I tend to view the events of Gog Magog as occurring possibly after the 1000 year reign of Christ. Psalm 83 list a group of nations that are closer to Israel (a sort of inner ring), and that nations of shown here are the outer ring, possibly invading after the inner ring had failed. It may even be that Psalm 83 occurs before any taking up (harpazo) of the "sheltered ones" Psalm 83:3. The sheltered ones are likely those taken up and hid, prior to the events of the tribulation, or eklesia (symbolically lampstands) that appear in heaven by Rev 4. The best I have heard is that the events of the confederacy against Israel (would possibly) occur prior to the events of Ezekiel 38. The building of the temple or events surrounding it is also likely to occur around the time of Revelation 11 and the two witnesses. John is told to "measure the temple of God". The two witnesses are likely spreading the gospel message (as the church would) and protecting the temple. They are called "two olive trees and two lampstands standing before the God of the earth" in Rev 11:4 which is reminiscent of Zechariah Chapter 4 where it is referring to two olive trees feeding a lampstand with seven pipes to seven lamps. This chapter also refers to a temple of the Holy Spirit and additionally the second temple that was to built in the days following the Babylonian captivity with the hand of Zerubabbel. Another reason Christians are interested in a temple to be built in Israel.

What do you mean by obsession with this short temporary life? This life is what we have.
What a sad existence that would be.

I can’t think of a more blasphemous sight given that Christians are the temple of the Holy Spirit and Christ’s once-for-all sacrifice was sufficient to cover our sins. To resume animal sacrifices is to go back to signs and shadows.

Slave morality. How sad it must be to waste what you have now for your imagined afterlife.

And yet so many are. It's very odd.

quote:If God doesn’t exist and there is no afterlife, then there is nothing to waste. Life is meaningless and what one does with it is of no consequence. Whether you spend it looking for your own pleasure, helping others, or spend it trying to destroy everything and everyone around you, it doesn’t matter and everything is permissible because there is no universal standard of the right way to live.

I'd disagree. Many Christians are routing for the temple to be built so the end times prophecies are fulfilled and can get the show going. Not for what sacrificial acts the Jews will be doing in the temple. They missed that boat centuries ago rejecting Jesus as their (and the gentiles) Messiah.
